I am 78 and have had serious auto and ranch accidents. Have lived with “dull roar” of pain most of my life. Dr Butz searches out source of pain and skillfully treats WITHOUT pain meds. Brilliant expertise ! I’m up and walking !! THANK YOU !!

Dr. Butz has helped my back pain management and kept me out of back surgery!!

Worst office I have ever been to. Office is totally mismanaged, lots of people working in the front & back office appearing to be doing nothing. Every appt I've had has been cancelled the day before, except the first one - when I did my first series of shots, they called the day before at 3:00 before the procedure stating they were moving. Like they didn't know this long before to give me more notice? I had to take off work because I was being sedated & my husband had to be my driver, making him miss work. When I went for my 1st set, I waited a long time - felt like a herd of cows...move'em in, move'em out! For the 2nd set of shots I show up at their new office & no one was around. Finally found someone & they said that they were doing procedures over at their old office - apparently they didn't have the proper licenses to operate at the new site. No one called me to remind me of my procedure the night before, or that it would be at their old facility. Had to race over there after… contacting my husband to come back & get me since he left. After 2nd set of shots, was scheduled for the follow-up, and received a phone message at 3-4:00 the day before the appt stating the person that was to see me was going to be out having surgery that day, so needed to cancel the appt, after I took time off work to go to appt. Again, they didn't know that this employee was going to have surgery & couldn't give notice sooner? No one ever called me back to reschedule - I asked my Primary Care Doctor for a new referral to a different doctor because of this was unacceptable treatment of patients. I only met Dr. Butts 1x at the initial consultation - felt very impersonal & rushed through visit. Dr. Bonis, the other doctor in the practice was the one that did the 2 shot series...had never met him before and thought Dr. Butts would be doing the procedure. He seemed very impersonal as well, like I was just one of the cows moving through the gates. Office Staff is unfriendly and doesn't know what they're doing, will not go back to them & would not recommend them.

I am 61 and have been seeing Dr. Butz for 2 years now, Iam very pleased with the care I have received. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait but it is worth it! I have never felt so good.

Dr. Butz helps my pain BUT his staff is rude! Will NOT help with paperwork. Told me to go home and complete it and then call for another appt --- after waiting over a month for this appt. Receptionist is argumentative and impersonal - she needs to find a job where she doesn't interact with humans in pain. Long wait times add to the displeasure of visiting this doctor. His time is important; my is not!

Although I feel Dr Butz competent, he is rarely in Chico. Having another office in New Mexico results in long waits between treatment. My next appointment for treatment is 10 weeks from the last. That's a long time when you are in pain. If I had know this going in I would have chosen another Doctor.

After waiting for over ONE hour I walked out - his staff is non-communicative, the service is non-existant. This is not the first time this has happened at this medical office. I don't recommend them at all.
