Dr. Brett Edward Frazier, MD

My visit with Dr. Frazier was very disappointing and stressful. I asked him a question about extending my prescription that I've been on for more than 20 years at the same dosage so I don't have to come in so often and, he said, "why don't you go to medical school so you can write your own prescriptions". He said if I didn't like how he does things I could "go down the road." He was rude, abusive and unprofessional. I will not go back to see him. How could I trust that he has my best interest when he took a question that was important to me and made it into something personal like I was attacking him. Very unsettling to be verbally mistreated by this doctor.

I have been going to Dr. Frazier for several years. He is very thorough and caring. I have actually followed him to another location, just to keep him as my Doctor. A few of these negative reviews are dishardening. To let something go after 2 years is the patient also not being proactive in their care, and is surely not the Doctors fault. I get blood work every 3 months, and if I have an issue he follows up with it. My Fiance also uses him and really likes him too! So much he is getting his Medicare that accepts Dr. Frazier so he doesn't lose him. If you don't have a good rapport with any Doctor, which happens and that doesn't mean they are a bad Doctor, look elsewhere.

Came in and had a BP of 92/50. That was dismissed as the machine needing maintenance--no retake of BP. Had an elevated eosinophil count. Dismissed as an allergic reaction to pollen. Complained of an itchy rear and abdominal pain and fatigue. Dismissed. 2 years later I was diagnosed in the ER at TGH with stage 4 rectal adenocarcinoma. STAGE FOUR, meaning it had already spread to other organs. I've been fighting for my life since. If he'd been paying attention, and it had been caught then, maybe I wouldn't be terminal now.

I was glad he showed interest in me as a person. And began to set up a plan in motion to address my medical situational
