Dr. Brett Justin Frieman, DO

When Dr. Brett joined his father's practice, I had no hesitation or concerns about his abilities because his dad, Dr. Lawrence, is an excellent ophthalmologist, and also has an excellent reputation as a clinical associate professor at the UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School. His son is obviously following in his father's footsteps. On a Sunday, I had a retina emergency around the time Dr. Brett started and was shocked when he said I could meet him at the office. I only called to make an appointment that following Monday, but he actually met me at his office that Sunday afternoon! From that moment on, I have trusted him completely as he has provided outstanding eye care to me, as his dad has, and to my grandchildren since he began his practice. This past holiday, I needed cataract surgery. Both eye surgeries were painless and successful. I haven't seen this clearly since third grade. Dr. Brett's attention to detail and his personalized care is astounding. I highly recommend him for being… one of the most caring and efficient physicians I have ever had. It goes without saying that the practice has a very caring office staff who really gets to know both physician's patients. They are helpful, respectful and know exactly what they are doing.
