Every tIme I see Dr. Henkle he always spends the right amount of time with me and never acts like he's in a hurry. He makes me feel I'm the most important person that day.

dr Henkel is a very nice person I don't think that means he is a good doctor I am disappointed with him overall and will probably look for another doctor. my reasons are numerous not the least of which to prescribe several medicines which when used in conjunction might have fatal results and cause alarming side effects which mimic alzheimers make mobility problems and cause marked problems with normal cognitive functioning I was in the hospital less than a mile away for 10 days and in a nursing home for 4 months and although he was notified he made no attempt to contact me check on me or to tell me what he thought of the attending physician at the hospital his intervention would have saved me from the malpractise of that physician and his staff I went to see him once a month for 8 months after my misadventure in the hospital and during that period of time he did not deal with basic things like thyroid test....I just started cutting my pills in half that worked he did not tell… me that certain drugs used in conjunction could in fact enhance my my medical problems in fact causing their own disabilities I resent this .strongly I am more than disappointed the more I learn the more disgusted I become I had decided to join group health because I know their standards are very high. it was much to my dismay to find dr Henkel and Columbia medical assoc. are also group health providers I don't know what to do now I would say if you are older think twice before going to dr. Henkel he hasn't had enough experience apparently to know that older patient im only 63 but my symptoms mimicked a much older person to know that prescription in lower doses are safer for the elderly he doesn't know that certain medicines used alone or in conjunction causes disabilities no medicine should be prescribed that causes disturbances in overall functioning in cognitive functioning and simple mobility dr henkels doctoring made me sicker than I was .I cannot recommend him unless all you want to do is go for coffee and discuss bad television thank you

Dr. Henkel is great! He talks to you like a person, not a number and is open to your thoughts. I would recommend him to anyone.

This doctor listens and in my case, he ordered the right tests to see what was causing my stomach discomfort. I have never gone to any physician who spent the amount of time he did in listening to me. I highly recommend him.

The first Dr in my life that really listened to me. He didn't seem like he was trying to get to his next patient or a tee time at the golf course. The staff and validated covered parking is great too! Very happy with this entire office. We even had a call back at 10pm on a Friday night from the on call Dr about our son. His strep test came back neg and they asked about his symptoms. They strongly recomended we go to the hospital. Our son ended up spending two days there fighting a severe throat infection. Thank God we didnt wait until the morning. They even called back the next day to see how he was. I have never had a Doctors office show so much genuine concern!

He is amazing with my special needs child. He took the time to review her history and decide on a treatment plan with out making us feel rushed. He was very good with her and she liked him a lot. His bedside manner was greatly appreciated.
