Dr. Brett Andrew Scott, MD

Dr. Scott is extremely knowledgeable and quite qualified to take care of your back. The two problems that I have with him are: he took too long to relieve my back pain, because he wanted me to lose 25 pounds first! Even though I had told him that the severity of my pain had caused me to avoid certain exercises and that one of my other diseases caused me to eat certain foods to avoid those complications--including the possibility of cancer! The other issue I have with him is the staff wants you to come in 30 minutes before your appointment even though DR. SCOTT AND HIS PA, DEBRA RYAN NEVER SEE YOU ON TIME! My time is as important to me as their time is to them!

Dr. Scott did a two level spinal fusion on my L4 and L5. He is a wonderful surgeon.

I had a cervical discectomy with fusion in 2007 and have been satisfied with the result. My left arm pain is gone. He did not promise more than he could deliver. Told me that my neck pain most likely would never go away, and it did not. I has gotten worse, but my arm pain is gone.

Dr. Scott is a great surgeon. diagnosed quickly. I was in misery with pain. When I woke up from cervical spinal fusion. All the pain was gone. Didn't even need pain meds. Truly a miracle! I got my recommendation from a friend, who is, the CEO of a hospital in Lexington. Recommendations don't get much higher than that.

I would highly recommend Dr. Scott!! I had been having lower back pain and horrible pain in the lower part of my left leg for at least 2 1/2yrs. I had been to my doctor several times as well as other doctor they recommended. And they told me everything else that was wrong with me except the main cause of my pain, which was an unstable spine caused by a fractured vertebrae on both sides of my L5 to S1 with a detached faucet joint causing my disc to slip out of place which caused it to be bone on bone. Which caused severe nerve root compression!! With horrible pain!! And within second of looking at my test results, which every other doctor had looked at, he saw the problem and has since done surgery to stabilize my spine and decompress my nerves. I am soooooo thankful to Dr. Scott. Not only is he an excellent doctor and surgeon, he a great person!!! Every doctor I had saw before him treated me like I was crazy and making it all up in my head.. So the message is don't give up when you… know there is something wrong and the doctors keep saying basically your crazy find a new doctor as many as it takes!! You know your body better than anyone......
