Dr. Brett Joseph Widick, MD

When I saw Dr. Widick, I was shocked at how easily flustered he was by basic questions. He did not know even well-documented information about my condition. He spoke primarily to his assistant, never to me, and prescribed treatment by talking directly to her. He didn't look at me or explain why he was prescribing certain medications. He grew agitated when I asked questions about those medications. The appointment cumulated in him growing so agitated he started shouting and stormed out of the room. I can't emphasize enough how basic these questions were. There's no amount of questions that should have resulted in him losing his temper like that. This man has an anger management problem and, I believe, needs to see a professional. No one with those anger issues should be working with patients.

I can see where Dr Wydic could be a good doctor after reading several of his reviews but I have been seeing him for over a year and he is like talking to a dry piece of toast. He always has another person in the room with him and talks to her more than he does to me. It just seems like he always has better things to do. I’ll be finding a new doctor soon.

Dr. Widick has always shown the highest level of concern for me as a patient. He talks to me and he listens to me. We discuss options and the likelihood of results. He seems to always have my history and past areas of risk at the front of his mind when he steps into the exam room. His staff is as responsive to my needs as he is. They return calls quickly, I don’t have to ask twice to get prescriptions refilled, if I am ill and need to see him, they get me in. I have friends and family members who see other doctors...they love their doctor but are frustrated because they can’t get a response or answer from the doctor because of the staff. That’s never a problem with Dr. Widick. He and his staff are a patient serving team. He is also very familiar with the latest studies and drug results that’s could impact his patient care. I can’t recommend him strongly enough.

dr widick is a great doctor very caring about patient listen to all your problem and give you the good care you need i changed 3 doctors due to insurance change and i was crying because no one is like him taking care of me and my health issue when i went back to him i was so happy thank you for everything

Dr. Widick is very thorough and knowledgeable. He really cares about his patients and is willing to do anything to help them achieve and maintain their health goals.

Dr Widick has been very caring, tries to relate with his patients. He is not afraid to order testing and will set his clients up with a specialist when needed. He is a smiling pleasant man who treats you as a friend, not just an appointment.
