Dr. Brian Lee Allen

I am rating this physician's office 1 star, because two months ago I called for a new patient visit was told the earliest appointment I could get was April 17th. Four months is a long time to wait for a new patient visit, but I was willing because it seemed like a good fit. However, today I called to see if they had any other times available since I will be out of town that week now. The receptionist who called me back after going through the HCA call center said that the next earliest appointment would be June or July. I scoffed in frustration, and when was asked if I wanted a date that far out, said "I don't really have a choice, do I?" To wit, she replied "Not if you want appointment with this doctor." I then proceeded to say no thank you on account of her acting like an ***. While the rest of the office may be great, and this one person may be having a bad day, there is no reason to treat a prospective new patient so rudely.

Dr. Allen is knowledgeable and compassionate. He coordinated care and orders for an MRI, and helped to fight with the insurance company when PT was required when I couldn't walk, sit or stand. Excellent in every way! In addition, very easy to get an appointment on line same day!

The patient care staff are exceptional. The billing staff needs GREAT improvement.

Dr. Allen is a great " people person", not many doctors are. He listens and is always so helpful and caring.

If you call the office to make an appt., you are almost,always put on hold for a while. When you get there you usually have to wait quite a while. This often causes you to be late for work. However, the staff and doctors are very nice and the docs do spend plenty of time with you and addresses all your concerns.
