Dr. Brian Joseph Bakofen, DO

I became a new patient of Dr. Bakofen's about 6 years ago, and he is the best physician I have EVER had, period. He is kind, friendly, easy to relate to, funny, caring, informative & attentive, without the slightest judgement in any way. I live two hours away with traffic and still keep him as my primary care because I know I couldn't get this type of care elsewhere. It's a bit difficult to make an appt with HIM as opposed to his staff given his many duties at Fenway; but all are qualified and meet the same criteria as above. I hope to have him managing my care for as long as possible.

I have been seeing Dr Bakofen for about a year now; unfortunately, I've had to deal with a couple health issues during that time. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr Bakofen. He is knowledgeable, but not afraid to pause and look something up he may not be sure of. He is never rushed and spends as much time as needed to diagnose and explain conditions. He and his office staff are extremely quick to follow up with calls and messages submitted on their patient website. To top it off, the facility he practices in at Fenway Health is amazing - modern, clean, and bright. Most of the office employees have been extremely helpful too. I highly recommend him, although I'm not sure if he's accepting new patients at this time.
