Dr. Brian Alan Bast, DO

Dr Bast is by far one of the best physicians I have seen, as well as his team. Honest, sincere, and empathetic. Always available to answer questions or requests. My hip treatment is on going - I am very happy I found him and his team for my care.

I have seen Dr Bast several times for help with post op management of degenerative disc disease. He really takes the time to listen, explain and does it all with such compassion. I truly appreciate his help and guidance.

I’m not sure if Dr Bast was having a bad day or just does not like caring for older adults. From the moment he entered the room he was dismissive and condescending. His exam was perfunctory and instead of suggesting a plan of treatment he asked me what I wanted, and did so in a tone of voice that made me too uncomfortable to ask him any questions. He was so unpleasant I went home and looked up the definition of physiatrist to see if I was expecting too much. I was not; he is a poor example of the profession.

I just started seeing Dr. Bast for back and hip issues. He’s thorough, attentive and responsive to patient questions and concerns. Thank you, Dr. Bast!

During a annual physical my doctor discovered a curvature of my spine, immediately sent me for x rays, then sent me to an orthopedist-Dr. Bast. The visit was a waste of time and money. This doctor is condescending and was unable to even advise care for this back issue. He said it would be best to wait for "something to happen" and then address it. His parting comment was, "Sorry I can't help you!" Very poor choice of doctor!

Thank you and, I have NO doubt in my mind, if you need a Doctor to help you? Br. B. Bast is the best one. If you can, please, trust based on my experience over 5 years....

Dr. Bast is very warm and congenial. I am comfortable in his care. Very astute.

I had a fever and was in a lot of pain when I saw Dr. Bast this past week. He was very attentive to my needs; he took the time to think over the symptoms I described, and more than once took the time to be personable and friendly, making me feel at ease. He took xrays, and then invited me to look at them with him while discussing my pain. He involved me in the diagnostic process and took my concerns seriously. He spent a great deal of focused time with me, which is why, I gather, his wait time is longer than average. I'm more than okay with this. He cares and he listens. I will certainly return to his care if need be.
