Dr Billings and his nurse [..] were excellent listening to my concerns.

Went in expecting the worse and was told that there were other option that had real good rates of success and we discussed those options

My questions were thoroughly and clearly answered.

Terrible experience with this “doctor.” His office called us to tell us that our insurance would not cover a procedure for my daughter, However, when I called my insurance company they told me the person from his office said to cancel the procedure because she didn’t want to to the paperwork for a prior authorization. My daughter and I drive from Chesterfield to NewPort News and showed up in his office unannounced to challenge this lack of professionalism. Ultimately my insurance covered the procedure. “Doctor” Billings couldn’t be bothered to speak to me or my daughter after her procedure, and she was discharged with absolutely zero post op instructions regarding her specific procedure. When she got back to her apartment in Harrisonburg she passed out in the bathroom. I called the on call “doctor” from this practice, who couldn’t be bothered to return a patients call. Three calls and an hour went by before I was connected to him and he was obviously annoyed at having his… evening interrupted. I could hear him in the background asking for a pen and a piece of paper to write down my daughters phone number. The on call “doctor”wasn’t prepared to return any calls that evening. I guess he had more important things to do than return calls from a surgery patient who passed out! “Doctor” Billings (I have put “Doctor” in quotes throughout this review as both gentlemen from this practice are a disgrace to the medical profession and should not be allowed to practice). called my daughter today and asked her specific questions about whether she was taking a warm bath twice a day. She replied she was not and was not told to. She called back to his practice to ask a nurse about this and was told that even though she got no discharge instructions from the “doctor” who couldn’t be bothered to speak to her or her father after her surgery she “should have known” she was supposed to do this! If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, chances are high it’s a quack. If you need surgery, go to a real physician, not this Donald Duck quack place! Rev. Douglas Gestwick

My only complaint is the horrible computer information experience. The receptionist was extremely rude...unbelievable. The low glass in front of her made hearing impossible. But Dr. Billings is a top physician. Excellent! Wouldn't consider anyone else..
