Dr. Brian Lee Boes, MD

My husband came in for some inside on what was going on with himself . Dr acted like he had no clue why he was there would it listen to anything he said and said you are fine why you here.This Dr should be ashamed to take peoples hard earned money to treat people like that. Shame on you Dr and i will let everyone i know hear about you. What a shame .

Seems to have issues with veterans. Very condescending, rude, and demeaning . Absolutely no bedside manner.My husband and I were so upset after the visit we are going to request the VA to recommend a different neurologist.

I saw Dr Boes for a first time today. I was thoroughly impressed with his thorough consult. I left there feeling very confident that my health issues will be resolved.

I went into the office with my mom. We sat down and immediately started asking questions. I tried to tell him my symptoms and he snarked at me saying “I didn’t ask for you symptoms” and everything my mom or I said he interrupted and brushed off. He left us in the room while he went to “look at my scans”. And by that I mean he walked out of the room and turned around and walked right back in and said “nothings wrong with you, so there’s no reason to see you anymore” I felt like a piece of crap to him and he made me feel like all of my symptoms were things I was making up. I would not recommend him to anyone. I don’t want people to walk out of his office feeling like I did.

I took my daughter to see Dr. Boes for headaches. I found him to be very helpful, he had lots a great information. I’m glad I didn’t cancel the appointment because of the reviews I had read about him. I would definitely recommend him.

Dr. Boes has been my Neuro for over 15 years. He saved my life due to his intense dedication to his profession. I knew when he started barking orders to get further MRI's, hand picked other specialists to see me and was focused on my issues, that I was in the best hands possible. I guess I wasn't offended that he was focused on my life instead of trying to be my "friend" or agree with me on everything. I read the comments and they seem to focus on bedside manner mostly. I don't even understand that as he has an intense side, yes, but mostly he is focused and dedicated to his profession. Hense, I am alive to tell about it...and the neurosurgeon and urologist that worked together with him on my issues were in high regard of him. The comments were interesting......

This man is a poor excuse for a physician and the other bad reviews are a mirror of what I experienced. He never even looked at my paperwork, was dismissive, condescending and rude. He only spent 5 minutes in the room, and even then kept trying to get up to leave. When testing my strength, he raised his voice and said multiple times, "You're not even trying." He sat across the room and said he couldn't see the symptoms, and said, "Symptoms don't just come and go." He also tore me down, didn't believe me about not drinking and mocked whatever I would try to say. I have never experienced a more humiliating or frustrating time in a doctor's office. When it was over he just turned his back, walked out of the room and then called over his shoulder, "You can leave through the first door on your left." I didn't read the reviews before driving 2 hours to see him, but I'm going to try to report him! His behavior resembled snide teenager and was inexcusable. Don't see this doctor, and I use… the term "doctor" loosely.

It is a waste of time and money to go this Dr. He will not listen to what your problem is. He is arrogant and rude.

I was referred here by a primary physician, and made the mistake of not looking at reviews first. I took time off work to discuss a fairly serious event/issue, but when I got there I heard one of the office staff whisper "is he even here yet?". As explained to me 20 minutes later, Dr. Boes was on call at a hospital at the time, and had to work there. To be fair to the front staff, they were very friendly and apologetic, but Dr. Boes is either completely incompetent in communication with his staff, or what I consider more likely, trying to earn a double salary- one from being on call at the hospital, and the other from having appointments with patients at the same time- and doesn't care about his patient's time enough to realize how wrong that is. Dr. Boes doesn't deserve your time or money. Pro tip: Don't schedule appointments with patients when you aren't going to be in the office.

My husband has been diagnosed with the early onset of Alzheimer's with dementia. He had an appointment with Dr. Boes. Dr. Boes was not helpful at all. This was a complete waste of money and time. Also, after Dr. Boes came into the exam room, he left for awhile and returned with a mask on his face. He wanted to know if we had pets and we said yes. He then told us that he was very allergic to pets! Maybe he should get an allergy shot to counteract this so that he doesn't have to be rude to his patients about this!
