Dr. Brian D Carlos, MD

I saw him years ago, but I still remember him as one of the best doctors I’ve ever seen. I felt listened to, and he said something to the effect of “we WILL get to the bottom of this” - and that was so comforting.

Dr. Carlos was my cardiologist in San Diego. He was the most caring doctor I have ever had. He went to all lengths to diagnose my problem and calm my fears about it. He even sat right in on my echocardiogram and reviewed it with me IMMEDIATELY after. No waiting. Rewinding me the tape and SHOWING me what he saw, and what he thought about it. No simple "it's fine" or "it's not fine." He always followed up immediately if I needed to know something.It was a sad day when I found out he had moved to Washington, DC. But the bar has forever been changed in what I expect from doctors now...and I don't think I'll ever find another one like him.
