Horrible experience at "CARE". Run from this place....

Today, I want to leave a review for Care Plastic Surgery in Cary. Or should I say “Don’t care” plastic surgery. My meeting today after much lackluster results with Dr. Brian Coan was a disaster. I have never in my life met a cockier, arrogant, obnoxious person in all my life. And I’ve met some doozies. I gave them an opportunity to make this right and Dr. Coan very impolitely declined. Save your time, money, dignity and go elsewhere. Rudest human being ever.

Dr. Coan and his team deserve more than 5 stars! Everyone is so warm and welcoming, and have treated me like family. I love my visits to this office!!!

I could not have found a better place to take care of myself. Dr Coan has an amazing personality and is so knowledgeable in his field. He and his staff are great. They treat you with the utmost respect and are committed to your needs.

Care Plastic Surgery is one of the finest surgery centers in the Raleigh Durham Cary area. Expect the best D Lasers and injectables. The staff is extremely articulate , friendly and provide focused answers on all procedures you may have. They go out of their way to make sure all patients are comfortable and you will leave feeling confident and beautiful.

A couple of years ago I had a full body lift, incl. tummy tuck and butt augmentation. I experienced a very clean & pretty office with friendly staff, and a squeaky clean Dr who was very confident and charming, but who seemed to be quite busy/rushed and although much was explained to me, it was a lot of information jam-packed and I felt confused, and rushed into responding, which made for a somewhat uncomfortable first experience, and of course I was already nervous and excited as most new patients would be. Well, I chalked this up to me being nervous and excited and we’ll...he’s a busy professional in demand, I thought to myself. So, I continued on with my plans for the surgery. Each visit was the same, rushed, but I got to enjoying the Dr’s whit and really liked the ladies in the office; they really helped me feel secure! One thing that dud begin to bother me however was the bit of “cockiness” and the rare, but still there, out-of-place comments that felt cutting to me… personally...but I thought, all that matters really is that I have an excellent surgeon. So I proceeded with the surgery. I’ll cut to the chance here...this surgery was Much much more than “uncomfortable” quite frankly it was the most excruciating pain I’ve ever felt, and I had prepared myself already for much more than “uncomfortable”! I then developed complications, which were immediately attended to, without hesitation, and anytime I did have concern, and I did, my calls were always accepted, and returned. To this day I still have nerve damage, which I never reported to the Dr or clinic, I don’t know why I haven’t...maybe because I feel I bothered them enough with the whole necrotic tissue experience...and I’m not sure the nerve damage can be fixed, and it’s all a part of what can happen, as stated in the paperwork, But of course that doesn’t help with the nerve pain. I’m happy about the physical outcome, he did a good job aesthetically, but I do think a softer bedside manner and slowing down while consulting would be a great benefit to his patients and to him.

Dr. Coan is the bomb.com....,,,period... I am so happy right now could scream! The whole experience was nothing short of excellence . If you're looking for a plastic surgeon, he is your man

My experience with Dr. Coan and the rest of the staff at Care could not have been better. I felt comfortable and welcomed from the moment I stepped into the office. The office staff are very professional and scheduling appointments is a breeze. Dr. Coan really took his time talking to me and understanding what I was looking for. This is what set him apart from other surgeons in my eyes. He made sure that I aesthetically got what I was looking for, but also asked about my life plans to ensure long-term satisfaction. After hearing that I plan to be an attorney someday, he recommended a full implant but with a moderate profile so that I can push them up when I want to, but also look more conservative when I need to. I am so glad I agreed with his recommendation. The work he did looks very natural and most people cannot even tell I got a breast augmentation - they just comment how great they look! The surgery itself went very smoothly and the staff at Care made sure I was okay afterwards,… and continue to do so even 6 months post-op. I am so glad that I chose to get plastic surgery and even more glad that I chose Dr. Coan as my surgeon. It is worth every penny - you won't regret it!
