Dr. Brian Elioti Cohen, MD

Okay so for 6 1/2 months I have been having ovarian pain on left side. Which cause me to go to the emergency room and 2 nurses and a medical student acknowledged there was an issue and I need to find a new gynecologist one that can actually do the job. Dr Brian cohen was my provider. When I would bring concerns to him about anything I was instantly talked down/belittled by this man and made me feel like complete garbage because I know something is wrong and it’s pushed off like it never mattered and that he knew better for my body. Last I checked it’s my body and my medical concerns should be addressed and I deserve fair equal health care. You being a doctor you swore an oath to provide and care for patients. But only oath you took is to forget how to put underwear on under your uniform. Yes I’m sure I’m not the only one of your patients who you belittle that have seen your tiny genitalia outline. When you conducted my breast exam you proceeded to press your genitalia against my arm.… Then sat down with your legs spread open and I could see your outline. Last I checked that is technically sexual harassment. During my visits you blamed all my issues on all my medication but been on these medications before I came to your practice since I was 16 yrs old. So no sir my issues aren’t with my medication. My issues are that you don’t know how to actually care for a woman and her health you want people to take your advice and make them feel less of a human being.because a incompetent man is taking a power trip and abusing it. Look at your reviews on vitals.com you have a 3.6 star rating and it’s alarming to see how you had women go to emergency rooms because you don’t provide accurate information and some of the women had miscarriages and they trusted you. I hope they have better doctors because you don’t fit in this industry. All you care about is showing off you lil wrinkled raisin in your scrubs thinking it’s a turn on for people to see. But news flash it isn’t appealing at all. We called and spoke to a supervisor about this and of course when called out and expressed concerns. I get told she can’t comment on anything and refuses to offer help. I pray to god no one pays you a cent because of your ill beside manner and incompetence to do a job you severely suck at doing and it’s been proven by reviews. Until my new doctor discovers more issues thanks to you. You ain’t getting my money for the crappy care you provided for me and many others I hope they never paid you because you don’t deserve it. So dr wrinkle raisin I mean dr brian cohen you will be held responsible for what I’m going through my hospital bill we be forwarded to your office along with the bill your office keeps sending. My money will go to people who have actual common sense and the knowledge to understand a patient.

I am not one to write reviews but in this case I will make an exception. I met with Dr. Cohen the day I found out I was miscarrying. I was asking questions and he talked over me. This may seem insignificant but when a woman is mid-miscarriage and unsure of what to expect compassion is warranted-he was more compassionate later but did refer to the practice clientele as “white bred and people like that follow up.” I found this comment completely inappropriate. Dr. Cohen went on to allow me to miscarry at home which was fine. He ordered an ultrasound at one of the other practice locations and his partner Dr. Delrosario reviewed the ultrasound with me and said it did not appear to have retained products of conception merely clots left to pass. The next day Dr. Cohen called to say I did have retained products of conception and would need treatment. The nurse talked to Dr. Delrosario as it was clear I had been given conflicting information. They allowed me to follow up with conservative… management at home. However, I began hemorrhaging and ended up in the ER. The ER found retained products of conception and infection. However, as the bleeding had slowed down they said Dr. Cohen approved me for discharge. I followed up with another partner at the office who manually removed some retained products. I hemorrhaged after this but was closely followed. I went on to continue bleeding and inevitably having a D&E. This is a group practice but when you’re being seen by multiple members of the group you need to have a clear plan of care and I did not. A miscarriage is difficult enough and having it last 7 weeks with two hemorrhages is not acceptable.

Did my hysterectomy, vaginal cuff broke open, both ovaries grew back, and a suture through my appendix.

I had outpatient surgery performed by Dr. Cohen about three weeks ago and it was the best experience that I have had encountered in my whole life. He made me feel comfortable in the holding room, in the OR and also in the recovery room. He is so genuine. The main reason I continue to go to him is that he does not sugar coat anything; he gets to the point and tells me how it is. To me, that means he cares. That is the kind of doctor I want to take care of me!

I had surgery due to post menopausal bleeding.He was reassuring,supportive and took time to speak with family post op.

He was called out for a delivery and I had to wait almost 2 hours. I had already taken off work and could not get another day off so I had to wait. Ridiculous and they need to have a back up for those situations.

I didn't have the most pleasant experience with this doctor & I won't be going back to this practice again. When asking me questions I felt as if I was being interrogated b/c of a small bruise. I should've said "yes my husband beats me & walked the heck out!" I understand that doctors need to be viligent in these areas but come on Please! I don't believe he even believed me anyway. I wish I could have my previous doctor back!
