Dr. Brian Keith Ellefsen, DO

I’m happy with what he did for my shoulder. Straight forward kinda guy! Good doctor!

This guy refused to do a simple surgery to repair the joint in my finger and I couldn't figure out why when he didn't even order an MRI or give me more than 10minutes of his time to look into the PIP joint damage. He totally wrote me off and treated me so poorly I cried in my car on the way home. I googled his experience thinking maybe he just doesn't perform surgery often and I found that him and his brother were convicted of tax evasion and pyramid schemes. I never found a date for when he last performed a successful hand surgery, if at all. This man is not kind, trustworthy, or helpful. He taught me today that having a long medical career doesn't always mean it's a good one. He filed for total disability for depression and anxiety in 2009 and spent 2 years in prison for medical fraud. Maybe he was a good dr before all of that but he wasn't today for me and the three other women in his newest office. The man I met today was nothing but a fraud.

I first met doc and had torn bursa in my right shoulder fixed.. I was extremely impressed with the outcome of my surgery.. He never talked over my head with big words and always shot it straight with me... I need my left shoulder done and if Dr Ellefson isn't the one doing the surgery it won't happen.. Doc, you are highly respected by me and my family members that have been blessed by your ability as our doctor...

Very personable and speaks on a level that you can understand (not all the medical terminology). Explained every detail of the xray and what the next steps will be. He truly cares about his patients. Way to go, Dr. Ellefsen and staff!

After years of shoulder issues and seeing multiple Doctors all with their so called expert opinions including needing neck surgery for shoulder pain I was referred to Dr. Ellefsen. I new right away that I had made the corect decision. He spent time not only going over my pain but also wanted to get to know me as a person. When he told me that my shoulder needed to be operated on I was completely at ease. He explained what was going to happen and gave me a time frame of when I would be able to start golfing again. I could not be more happy and will recommend him to all my friends that need to see a real surgeon that cares!!!!!! by the way I am 1 year without pain in my shoulder.

Dr. Elefsen replaced my right knee. He did an excellent job. My stitches were even and in a straight line. He was very caring and considerate of his patients. He is a very good doctor in my opinion. I would go to him at anytime. He has operated on my shoulders and hands, again no complaints.

Very professional and caring. Dr. Ellefsen took all the time we needed to understand and answer our questions. His office staff is excellent, very personable, and polite. We feel extremely comfortable there and confident in his care.

He did surgery on my wrist 16 years ago and I have not had any problems since. He was a really nice doctor and his humor made everything go much easier.

I am looking for him, because he was the best Orthopedic Dr. in the area.
