Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I chose medicine as a career to help patients navigate health and well-being, and chose Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery to concentrate in one area of conditions affecting the human body. What I want my patients to know about me:I consider ethical, science-based medicine, with the patient's interest as my only goal.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I am an avid runner. I enjoy playing mandolin for development of my artistic side.

Went to Dr. Flowers to follow up on an existing condition. I told him than my throat hurt. He said he saw no indication of an infection. The very next day I went to Patients First, had a culture done it confirmed I had Strep throat. Could be 50 Dollars richer now.

I saw Dr. Flowers for sinus issues. As it turns out, I have allergies. When I asked him if allergies could be causing my problems, he acted like I had smacked him. He acted so offended and just became more rude as the appointment went on. I have told all my friends and family of my bad experience. He needs a major attitude adjustment.

Dr. Brian Flowers is an excellent doctor with a great "bedside manner." He's a superb surgeon, enjoys humor, and knows how to accurately diagnose what is wrong (in contrast with merely prescribing a shelf full of antibiotics and carelessly moving onto the next patient). I've been very pleased so far with Dr. Flowers.
