Dr. Brian David Gelbman, MD

Very helpful

I've been Dr. Gelbman several times since Dec. 2018 for my condition, bronchiectasis--which is an incurable, though not necessary serious, lung disease. He listens, he tries new things, he does not make me wait a month for an appointment but is available sometimes the same day for emergencies. His office at NY Pulmonary is well staffed with a phlebotomist, a lung technician, a cardiology technician (the last one is important if you're going for a surgical procedure and need to be checked out for your physical condition.) A clear recommendation!

Very thoughtful analysis, spent a lot of time going over my history and reviewed my images himself, instead of relying on the radiologist report. Together, we came up with a reasonable plan which was greatly reassuring. I highly recommend him for anyone with pulmonary issues.

I was being treated by a Doctor in a NY Hospital. I had poor interface with him. He did not offer prescriptions for my COPD. Took Oxygenation, Listened to my lungs and did a breathing test. I visited Dr. Gelbman and had an excellent session. He did understand my problem, gave prescriptions as required, issued permission for nighttime oxygen as well as treatment with daily inhalants. My condition was better. I felt more comfortable and at ease about my treatment. HE has my highest recommendation
