Dr. Brian Hunter Goldman, PhD

Dr. Goldman is a breath of fresh air! He is intelligent, down to earth and extremely helpful. I got more from a few sessions than my previous 2 therapists combined!!! My life is sooo much better now. If you need a psychologist I would hesitate to call him. The negative reviews are ridiculous. But, you have to keep in mind that some of his patients are very very difficult. The great majority of his reviews are awsome!

My wife and I were going through a tough patch and we met with Dr. Goldman and saved our marriage. He did not take sides, he listen and suggested ideas and BETTER ways to communicate. We would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Goldman if you want to be a better spouse to your spouse!

Suggest steering clear of Goldman. He is argumentative and always looking for a fight. My child grew scared of him and his aggressive energy. Goldman only accepts cash or check, no HSA and getting paperwork from him is all but impossible. Leaving his "care" was the best thing I have done for my child.

These other reviews are ridiculous! I would take them with a grain of salt given some ot the people Dr. Goldman has to deal with. Dr. Goldman helped my son enormously! He is 11 years old and was depressed and anxious. For the first time he is enjoying life and even making friends! I would recommend him without hesitation.

My ADHD, emotionally challenged child got progressively worse under Goldman's care, and we never offered much useful advice and tore my child down trying to break him into submission. As soon as we moved my child to a new psychologist his world turned around and he immediatley began gaining the tools and confidence he needed to cope with his challenges. There are MANY better therapists out there!

I have a hard time even calling this guy a doctor. Very unprofessional and a total fraud. My son went to see him for several weeks and my wife and I attended several meetings with my son on separate occasions. After my son telling me Goldman was trying to degrade and insult me and trying to divide our relationship my son had enough. Goldman also made harassing and insulting calls to my wife and was never man enough to call me or answer when I called. Only takes cash or check and will not give receipts. His office is a one man show with zero staff and makes appointments that you never know you have and than tries and bills your insurance.

Dr. Goldman seems to have more personal issues than the patients who need help. Beware he has no staff does not give receipts and only takes cash or checks. If you pay cash he will never have change. I have filed a complaint against this doctor with the Georgia Board of Psychologist.

He talked about his previous drug addiction and his own ADHD issues as well as his terrible relationship with his family (can't stand his Brother and his parents weren't good parents) in the first meeting of wanting to bring my Son in to talk to him to try and sort some teenage emotions out... He diagnosed my Son after the very first session as his issues stemming from parents. Total nightmare as he ended up calling defax on us. He is completely unprofessional and I warn anyone seeking a psychologist or wanting to simply talk to someone to please stay away from this doctor as he is absolutely terrible and extremely inappropriate.
