Dr. Brian Michael Gordon, MD

I have had back pain for years. I went to Dr. Gordon thinking it was probably sciatica or spinal stenosis. We now think it's spinal stenosis. I have to return in a few days to discuss what was found on the MRI. He was very pleasant and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit. He listened to me rattle on and was very courteous. I think he will be able to make me feel better and have less pain. I don't know where all the bad reviews are coming from, but I had a great experience with Dr. Gordon.

Saw Dr Gordon he stated I could use a spinal fusion but did not want to to do because of my age ( too young ) and the possibility of needing more surgery in 10 years ... He wants me to go get spinal injections instead , which I do not want done because I know a lot of people who had bad experiences with them ... He basically told me if I dont do the shots dont bother going back to him ... just live with the pain because if its as bad as I say my pain is I will want the injections. Shouldn't I have a say of what is going on with my body?

Found out mine was a workers comp injury got up and walked out and sent in a PA without saying a word

Don't waste your time. Terrible man; terrible practice; horrible nurse practitioner. Staff booked four patients for the NP at 1:00. pm. Dr. Gordon never examined me and never read my MRI results. All done by NP.

Dr. Gordon was extremely rude, arrogant, and inattentive. I was scheduled to see Dr. McCormack and unfortunately I had to be seen by Dr. Goldberg. I explained my health history and my current symptoms. He began arguing with me telling me my symptoms were not accurate because he didn't see the pathology on my MRI. Then he told me there is nothing he could do for me. I left furious. I got a second opinion and this neurosurgeon found 2 herniated disc which was causing my sciatic pain and numbness in my right foot. Doctors like Dr. Gordon who feel they know more about the symptoms than the patient are not meant to be in the medical field. To all those suffering from chronic pain, remember you are the best advocate for your medical needs, and please find a neurosurgeon you are comfortable with before you seek treatment.

The docotr didn't even review my MRI or talk to me about it, a NP did and told me my diagnosis. What a JOKE!!!!

I've seen this doctor twice, the first time I had to wait well over an hour. I scheduled to be the first appointment of the day. He was supposed to call me back with the results of my MRI. I never heard back from him. My second appointment once again was a first appt of the day, I waited for 45 minutes and approached the receptionist. Once again, Dr. Gordon had not even arrived for work. There was no medical emergency to make him late, this was also the case the first time.

Very rude and demeaning

After reading all of these reviews I am in shock... I can't help but think these people didn't see the same doctor I did, there was a small wait when I got into the examining room but other then that Dr Gordon and his NA were attentive caring and answered all of my concerns and my mothers concerns. He was optimistic but realistic as well.He didn't just take a look at my tell me I have a herniated disk and walk out. He thoroughly examined me and communicated with me exactly what the plan was from then on. I am very confused about the other reviews as I didn't have an experience remotely like theirs but who knows
