Dr. Brian Ira Haft, MD

I rate this doctor a ZERO. The office looked unsanitary and there was a very nasty smell. The doctor did not even take two minutes to examine my eyes. How can he write a prescription if he only asked me once what letters I could read. He did not want to dilate my eyes. When I asked him why , he responded "no time" "next time". I do not recommend this doctor to anybody. He is very arrogant and does not relate to his patients. No bedside manners at this office. His side kick nurse has a horrible attitude. Very short with me as I asked questions. The old old lady he has working for him to collect either has dementia or is just plain dumb. It took her so long to give me change back. She also was very nasty in pointing out that cash is the only form of payment. Not everyone carries cash with them these days. I will be finding another doctor.

Dr Haft is pushy and very mean to his patients. Condescending and very rude. God forbid you ask him any questions about your concerns he will immediately cut you off and give you a blunt answer. His tech also seems to be uneducated and couldn’t answer any questions for me. She was rushed and seemed to be bothered that she actually had to do her job. The office was filled with patients never once did I see them clean any equipment off or take and precautions to avoid spread of Covid

First time at this doctors office. He did not say hello when he came into the room. I did not know what to expect as it was my first time to his office. He did not explain what he would be doing or the steps to my exam. He came at my eye with this bright light. I had mentioned to his nurse that I was very sensitive to light. I blinked and flinched this doctor yelled at me like I was a child! I don’t tolerate that disrespect I don’t care what kind of degree he has. Respect is respect. I do not recommend him at all. Horrible people skills!!

Dr Haft all of a sudden is not doing cataract surgery after many years of performing surgery. When you call the office to set up an appointment you are NOT told he no longer does surgeries. When you come in for your appointment you are giving the full work up exam. Afterwards you are told he doesn’t do surgery and he “partners” with another office in Boca Raton!! What? Why wasn’t I told this from the beginning? Who wants to drive to Boca when they are plenty of other ophthalmologist in the area?? Total waste of time, the attitude of his nurse who does nothing but clear her throat when talking to you then Dr Haft says two words to you If you are lucky! Then dealing with the unpleasant elderly lady who talks to you like you are uneducated. Not worth the aggravation! Find a updated friendlier office to deal with

Lord have mercy dealing with this old fossil is impossible! Controlling, intrusive, nasty. This will be last visit with Dr Haft every year seeing and dealing with this old lady is nerve wracking! His attitude and that of his nurse is no better either. He never has had a personality but lately he has totally lost his touch. And his mother just needs to go!

Rude, condescending impatient. My childhood pet rock had more of a personality than he does. His nurse is very pushy and mean. His decrepit mother who still works for him is impossible to work with. Extremely rude and just plain nasty. The arrogance in this office is unacceptable. Maybe he needs an eye exam. His office is disgustingly dirty run down and smells.

It is sad the doctor provides great service but his staff and billing department leaves a lot be desired. I was a patient there for 10 years plus and this year I was billed continually more than & $125 with insurance and previously I never had this issue and never changed insurance companies. Then when I asked why was I charged so much as I was told a patient with no insurance pays & $75 for the same visit I was told to call my insurance company, and they withheld my records and prescription for another amount that was billed 9 months after I was seen there. I will NEVER go back to that office and recommend you call your insurance and check all billing and copay's as they will bill and bill you with no explanation and get rude when you ask for explanation and withhold your records. It all about the money.

The attitude of his office staff was horrible. The girl was slamming drawers, threw a chart down on the desk then slammed the door to the room she called me into. Very direct and blunt. Like she was bothered to be at work that day. Dr Haft says two words to you if you are lucky. The older lady is no peaches and cream either. Horrible feeling to be referred to this doctor then witness this unprofessionalism.

Go see anybody but him! I do not know what his problem is? He is rude and full of himself. He gave me the wrong Rx and when I went back he insinuated it was my fault. The staff is very nice and I do not know how they work for this.man? I can not call him doctor. Please find anothrr man to treat you. He must write his own good reviews.

The Doctor was cold and indifferent. Treated me more like an object than a human. He never once spoke to me his conversation was directed to his technician. He definitely needs to learn some bed side manners and his technician should go back to New York with her nasty attitude
