Dr Brian Dirk Heeringa, MD

I went to ER choking and gave Admitting personnel card with my choking history because of strictures in my esophagus, doctor's name and phone number and requested they contact my surgeon. They ignored and didn't call my surgeon and waited to call Dr Heeringa in hours later to finally remove food object. He berated my husband and I for not calling him in earlier more than once both in the ER room and in the Operating Room because he wanted to go to bed. Very rude and uncalled for.

Initial experience is a welcoming staff. So comfortable to ask questions and be prepared for procedures. Dr Herringa is a knowledgeable and professional person. He has a keen sense of patient tolerance. I add that I am comfortable because of his obvious family and Christian values.
