Dr. Brian Louis Ireland, DO

Had an issue with a bill that went back and forth with their office manager Brenda who could care less and threatened collections on me. When I questioned her about the way a bill was improperly coded and submitted and was advised by my insurance company to have it resubmitted correctly she accused me of trying to have her commit fraud! Non-formulary request forms were not filled out or not filled out in a timely manner, etc... The rest of the staff was always nice and I never had an issue with the doctor. My visits never lasted more than 5 minutes, even my wellness checkup. Felt sometimes like he was just going through the motions. They are also horrible at answering the phones. Get a better system. Brenda was enough to make me leave the practice and we had been seeing an Ireland doctor on and off since 1982! Not a bad practice but I would look elsewhere if you had the choice.

Went to Dr. Ireland with an infection in my finger. Gave me antibiotics and told me to soak the finger. Nothing happened. Went to another doctor for an unrelated condition. Saw my bandaged finger and asked what the doctor was doing to help. Took a specimen to have a culture done. Something Dr. Ireland never did. After results came in was told antibiotics I was taking were not for the type of infection I had. Was given other antibiotics and after taking them infection was cured. Dr. Ireland was a waste of time and money.

After a year of continued care for hypertension Dr. Brian Ireland has upped my does of lisinopril 3 times to no avail. After recently feeling ill and seeing him, his attitude was meek and didn’t seem to be concerned even though my blood pressure is consisntly 150/100. I asked to change medicine, he was reluctant but agreed. I was scheduled several weeks later due to an overly busy schedule but before my appointment I began to feel ill again with a bp of 160/110. The new medicine has had no affect and after two weeks from having blood drawn and an ekg I still had no phone call or results after inquiring. They basically told me to be patient until my appointment or to call 911 in which they threatened to do for me, (seemingly to get rid of me considering this was not a medical emergency and it was a Friday afternoon) if I wouldn’t comply to just be patient. The worst part of this experience was the staff, every one of them. I felt as if I was abandoned portraying complacent attitudes,… hung up on me twice and patronized. Ultimately I went to a new primary care doctor. I am so disappointed that medical professionals like this exist and am writing in hopes that no one else has to experience something like this. Been going for years, never had a problem. Saw a nurse practitioner instead of doctor and now meds are getting changed!! Have to find new doctor now. Not Happy at all!

Have been a patient for years. Back office staff is nice, front office is awful. Dr. Brian is very, very nice and caring but doesn't always seem to refer everything to a specialist.

He is a good practitioner and follows up on what he says.

Dr. Ireland is very friendly and has been spot on for my ailments. I highly recommend this family man. I have been seeing him for 2 years now.

Dr. Ireland was rude, and showed no compassion. I would not recommend him.
