Dr. Brian Randall Kaye, MD

I saw Dr. Kaye for osteoarthritis. I have lived with this for 10 years and it has become progressively worse in the left hand. I went to Dr Kaye for non-intrusive medical advice. I wanted to know about foods to avoid, about therapy, about anything that might help my pain that didn't involve drugs. I came away with NOTHING. He did not even look at my chart to see what other medications I was using that might affect my arthritis until I asked. He said that all he could do was cortisone shots as needed. It was a total waste of time, and I have no intention of having cortisone injections on a regular basis. The 10 minute 'evaluation' was $368. I will try to find a more holistic doctor who can advise me on alternative methods of coping with arthritis. The only positive is that he is a pleasant man.

Dr Kaye was my first RA doctor and I, not knowing much of the disease, trusted him. Consequently, months and months went by with him not listening to my body's rejection of methotrexate ( and other meds). I suffered avoidable joint damage in this time. When I switched insurance, I got a new RA doctor who understood my needs and relief came. Moreover, when I got my Dr Kaye medical records, he did not even mention my complaints. Not a good doctor...best to you and your care

i switched from him like a HOT potato!!! He doesn't listen whatsoever!! I wasn't feeling good at all one time. It was autoimmune related. Basically I could have died if my GP didn't step in after I complained. He just has been doing this so long I get the feeling he just doesn't care anymore...

Dr. Kaye is warm, friendly, and compassionate. I had been to four doctors before him and no one could diagnose my problem. He was able to do so and has treated me successfully. I am eternally grateful to him. I don't know what the reviewer meant who said he is only interested in textbook problems. She is so wrong! I love Dr. Kaye and wish that all the doctors I see were like him.P.S. I have never been to another doctor who is so prompt. I never wait for him.

I was quite nervous when I met Dr. Kaye and he immediately put me at ease. He is smart, kind, compassionate and caring. He was the first doctor who was able to help me (I went to three before him). His staff is very nice. There was no wait to see him. I'd recommend Dr. Kaye to anyone with arthritis.

Dr. Kaye saw my 19 year old daughter and diagnosed rheumatoid arthritis. He could not have been more thorough in taking her history and explaining her condition and treatment. He was extremely sensitive to her concerns and treated her like an adult. My daughter is no longer afraid to see the doctor!Another nice feature about Dr. Kaye and his office is that we had no wait to see him and he always returns calls promptly.You will not find a better doctor!!

Dr. Kaye is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. He is kind, compassionate, and answers questions clearly. He returns phone calls promptly and is easy to talk to. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a rheumatologist.
