Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare?:Healthcare aligned with my interests along my academic journey. I became more and more fascinated by the human body and physiology as I studied it in college. I ended up in pain management because quality of life is very important to me, and I know from personal experience how much pain can affect it.What I want my patients to know about me?:I often joke that I want to see you as little as possible, because that means you are doing well. Like any field in medicine, there are many aspects of chronic pain that are still poorly understood. As much as we all wish for one, we usually lack quick fixes or magic bullets for many chronic pain syndromes. Please bear with me as it often takes time to piece together all of the components of chronic pain pathologies and figure out how I can work with you to optimize a chronic pain treatment plan.What I do when I’m not seeing patients?:Spending time with family.
