Dr. Brian Paul Maloney, MD

I've been a long-time patient of Dr. Maloney's and have always been happy with the results from fillers and Botox. After discussing his recommended options, he takes the time explaining what he is doing and why. His office staff is awesome - very knowledgeable, friendly, and have been with him for years.

I paid $2,730 for a procedure that did not meet expectations and requested a refund. Dr. Maloney first offered a partial refund, then later offered the full amount—but only if I signed a nondisclosure agreement that would have prevented me from speaking about my experience. I refused to sign and was denied the refund. Patients deserve transparency and should never be asked to give up their right to speak in exchange for fair treatment.

I want to share my experience at The Maloney Center in Atlanta, because what happened to me wasn’t just about aesthetics — it was about integrity, accountability, and power. I went to Dr. Maloney for an unrelated procedure. While there, he convicted my to get eye filler. He then proceeded to inject my lips. The results were uneven, harsh, and disfiguring. My lips were overfilled, distorted, and asymmetrical. I ended up having to pay out of pocket to have the filler dissolved by another provider — something that never should’ve been necessary and then reinjected - costing thousands. When I reached out to The Maloney Center, I wasn’t rude or threatening. I simply asked for a refund. Dr. Maloney first offered me $800 — a fraction of what I’d paid — and then, when I refused, he offered to refund the full amount only if I signed a “Settlement and Release Agreement.” That agreement was deeply concerning. It was not a simple refund. It was a gag order — a contract designed to silence me… from ever sharing what happened, even truthfully. It required me to release him from all liability, promise never to speak about my experience, and even agree not to post honest reviews. As someone who coaches trauma and narcissistic abuse recovery, I recognize this dynamic instantly: when a powerful person or institution makes a mistake, instead of accountability, they try to control the narrative. They want silence. They want compliance. They want to protect their image, not the person they harmed. This isn’t about revenge. It’s about awareness. Patients deserve to know when a doctor mishandles a procedure — and consumers have the right to speak the truth about their experiences without being bullied or silenced.

I took the plunge and had a lower face/neck lift because the rest of me looked 50 but my neck looked 80. The turkey neck had to go! I approached Dr Maloney because he had a lot of experience with male clients which made me feel more comfortable. I told him I didn't want to come out of this thing looking like Kenny Rogers or Barry Manilow and he laughed and assured me that would NOT be the case. In consultation he showed me the goal of the procedure via computer illustration and manipulated my neck and facial skin then went over the basics of what he'd need to do. He also went over the aesthetic differences between male and female facial surgery how to get a natural result. I'm technical so I asked a lot of questions and he answered all of them directly. The staff are very thorough, answered all my questions, and supported me through the journey of scheduling and completing the procedure. While there's no way anybody can really prepare you for the pre-op anxiety of having surgery on… your face, they did the best job humanly possible. The rest was up to me. Since I took the time to investigate the procedure I was able to get a game plan in place for growing my hair out to cover incisions around my sideburns and back of head. Men should be aware that a facelift WILL change your hairline/sideburns and you WILL have incisions under the hair on the side and rear of your head. Longer hair is the best camouflage. I'm now 8 months post op and look so much better. I get a lot of compliments from those who know what I've had done. And for people who don't know me they all think I'm 10 years younger than I am. I'm glad I took the plunge and glad I chose Dr Maloney.
