I can't say enough good about Dr. Brian Mcgrory and the whole staff. I had questions after surgery and I got answers almost immediately. I traveled 3 1/2 hours to have Dr Mcgrory replace my right knee. A few weeks of discomfort but the outcome is fantastic! I'm 8 weeks today and feel great. I'm 61 and could barely walk before the surgery. Now I'm able to walk around in relative comfort. So glad I did it!

Dr. McGrory replaced my right knee and in three months time I was out on the court playing Pickleball. He is extremely personable and professional. I highly recommend his services to anyone who is in need of a knee replacement, I can’t believe how good my knee feels. He answered all my questions and helped me feel at ease with my decision. My only regret is that I didn’t do this surgery sooner.

I am a 67 year old man that had a right hip replaced almost 11 years ago. I could not be more pleased. its worth stating again, I could not be more pleased. The hip has integrated into my body in a seamless fashion and it gives me no sensation of being an implant, has the complete mobility of my natural hip and is completely without any pain. I seldom realize that I have an implant after a decade of use. I am an active hiker, bicyclist, sailor, enjoy traveling, ice skating, xc skiing and snow shoeing. I take yoga 3x per week and this surgery has taken years of pain from my life and given me a high quality lifestyle in its place. I had a five year followup exam this week and Dr. McGrory said the hip was still almost new after looking at my x rays. He is a very skilled doctor and has helped me a lot. I can not say it enough, I could not be more pleased.

My 1st hip replacement was 9 years ago. My experience was so positive and successful, I went back to Dr McGrory last year for my second hip replacement even though I live an hour and a half away. I will continue to be his patient!

I have never had surgery before so when I was told I needed knee replacement surgery I did a lot of research and spoke to people who had the the surgery in the past. My physical therapist highly recommended Dr. McGrory and I am forever grateful that I chose him. On my first visit to him, Dr. McGrory determined I needed a partial knee replacement and we scheduled the surgery. My care was above my expectations. I was off the pain medication in less than two weeks and driving myself to my pt sessions. I went back to work at six weeks and never looked back. I will recommend him to any person considering knee replacement surgery. Despite the 4.5 hour trip to get to him, and to Maine Medical Center where the surgery was done, I feel I definitely made the right choice.

My partial knee replacement was a great success. I had never had any kind of surgery before, so wasn’t really sure what to expect. Before three weeks I was able to drive again. I highly recommend that you start taking the Collace, Miralax the day after surgery and take it every day while on medication. I would not hesitate to have Dr. McGrory do my other knee if it needed it.

I am a 82 yr old Woman with severe arthritis in both knees. One knee had completely gone to the point i was unable to walk on it at all, severe pain. I did my research and came up with a Dr. Brian McGrory. Although i was reluctant to trust any Doctor with this surgery, due to a lot of bad out comes with knee replacements. I knew i had no choice. Dr. Brian McGrory's Team was a wonderful experience from the beginning, explaining everything to ease my mind. The surgery went wonderful. What an amazing Doctor he is. I have my life back at 82. Not a bit of pain, and i can walk again. An only took Tylenol for what little pain i had after surgery. Hes a Doctor you can talk to as well. Best decision i have made in along time. I've been dealing with the prospect of THR revision...when I saw Dr. McGrory I was confident I was in good hands...knowledgeable and an excellent diagnostician...looks at complete picture!

Experienced surgeon but, has ego issues. Left office feeling awful.
