Dr. Brian Keith Miller, DO

Dr. Miller is good and well mannered and nice! What prompted the poor ratings for me was the lack of follow up from staff, the difficulty to make an appointment as I never heard back from anyone when I left a message for a call back to schedule an appointment. Also, follow up after a visit was never done after multiple visits. I had to call them back and leave message after message. Needless to say that despite being so close to them I am looking for another Dr. Sooo disappointed but I cannot continue like this!

I felt listened to at my appointment which was efficient and resulted in me feeling better. He prayed for me at a difficult time in my life which I truly appreciated!

I was not even a patient of Miller's from the beginning. From the first day I came to the office, I had appointments scheduled with one of his colleagues at the clinic. I followed every guideline. He terminated me as a patient. This was unethical for several reasons: 1. I was not his patient. 2. Confidentiality was violated by leaving a detailed message on a non-private answering machine. 3. After requesting a conference with my actual physician, he refused. 4. He was aware that I was disabled, on Medicare/Medicaid, and did not have a physician to go to in his colleague's place. His action was discriminatory. 5. He refused to provide any referral resulting in me being dangerously short on medications that could lead to seizure or even death if not properly decreased. Most importantly, he violated his oath as a physician of "doing no harm". By his above actions, he put my emotional and and phsyical health at risk. I am still dealing with the reprecussions to this day. His… reason was I was being non-compliant for trying to see his colleage instead of him when I was NEVER his patient. I will be notifying the state board, an attorney, and his employer shortly.

Staff is rude, slow and useless! The staff is a reflection of the doctor. If the staff can't get things done requested by the doctor and is needed and necessary for the patients overall health, it certainly makes one want to change physicians. We have options.
