Dr. Brian James Moshier, DO

Really takes his time, always follows up. He does not rush through the visit and give quick answers, takes his time, listens, and really examines my son, not just a 3 minute quick look and out the door with little to no answers. Being in the medical field, I notice when the doc looks quickly, they are not even really examining (I have an otoscope at home, so I have already looked ahead)....it takes time to thoroughly look into an ear canal and see the ear drum properly. It also takes time to thoroughly listen the the lungs etc... If you think it is taking too long for him to examine your child, know that your child is probably in the right hands, as he actually properly examines his patients and will most likely get it right the first time! He always follows up afterwards too with a phone call! Very caring.

Dr. Moshier not only displayed great competency as a doctor, but always showed compassion towards my sons and our family. He never pressured us to get flu vaccinations or any other kind of medication that my husband and I were uncomfortable with (which is extremely rare in our experience with pediatricians). Not many doctors have earned our trust to care for our children, but doctor Moshier has.

My kids have seen Dr. Moshier for over five years. He is the ONLY doctor I truly trust. I started taking my kids there after having some on going issues with my son. We had seen several doctors and had been to a walk in clinic in the Quad Cities. The doctor at the walk in clinic recommended that I call Bettendorf Pediatrics to see one of the doctors there. The doctor he recommended was no longer taking new patients but they told me that Dr. Moshier was. So I made an appointment with him. I was thoroughly impressed with Dr. Moshier. He is very thorough. He spends a lot of time with my children. He asks them questions and really cares about them and their answers. My son has asthma and Dr. Moshier always spends a great amount of time listening to his lungs and listening to his breathing. He has treated my sons asthma many times. He has even given him breathing treatments right there in his office and he has even personally called us numerous times at home to check and see how my kids are… doing and make sure they are ok. I have never known a doctor who does that. I have 2 kids who both see Dr. Moshier and I don't like to take them to see any other doctor. He doesn't just give me a quick explanation as to what could be wrong with my kids, he actually figures out what is wrong with them. From hernias to campylobacter...he will do his very best to figure out what is wrong with my children. I read another review which said some not so good stuff about Dr. Moshier and his staff and I felt obligated to write this because I think he is a wonderful and caring doctor and his staff has always been very nice and helpful as well. I would highly recommend him as a doctor and I have before. I drive 55 minutes both ways to take my kids to see him and with 2 kids I am sometime there a lot. I trust him and that's all that masters to me. I know that my kids are in good hands and that's what truly maters.

The most memorable thing about Dr. Moshier is that he is a professional. He is prompt, confident and efficient. He takes the time to consider the worries of the parent or grandparent, he is courteous, patient and truly makes an effort to understand the child, which is very important. Thank you Dr. Moshier, your efforts are very much appreciated.

Had several issues with this dr office. Biggest of which, Dr would not take the time to listen to our concerns on a breathing issue with my daughter. Kept telling us it was normal for babies to rasp aim tryna axe you d weeze while breathing under the age of 1. How is that normal??? Even wemt in to saying that children under 2 do not get allergiea but if I feel its neccesary to just give her benadryl to help her sleep?? I would love to kmow where he went to school. Had even more issues with his receptionists. They are unorganized. RUDE. A UNPROFESSIONAL..and one of which can not even talk correctly. Ronalda is the wost of the bunch.
