Dr. Brian Myers

My family and I are very grateful to this team. I was admitted into Piedmont Henry’s ER for a severe bowel obstruction. Drs. Fernandez and Myers performed the life saving surgery shortly after I arrived. Afterwards they visited me daily in the hospital to make sure I was doing well. I thank God daily that I was placed in such capable hands.

My experience with surgery South was horrible. My surgeon was Brian Myers he ended up having to operate on me twice to repair a hiatal hernia. Now I have Gastroparesis and will have to undergo a third surgery to repair the damage. I regret going to this office and especially being referred to Brian Myers. I almost died during the second surgery and was hospitalized almost 30 days as a result. My quality of life has been reduced tremendously. I was told I would only have to be in the hospital one night if he did not have to extend my esophagus. He did not have to but it was really scary for my family and I .By the grace of God I am still living but I am more miserable as a result of the surgery.

Dr. Myers removed my gallbladder and he did a very good job! He is friendly, and professional. I have very small incision marks, and have had no problems. If you need laparoscopic surgery Dr. Myers would be a good choice!

Dr. Myers has operated on me 2 times and both times he carefully explained everything to me before and after surgery. Anytime I had a problem post op he would send me for further testing if necessary but he always brought me into the office. If he was not in the office when I was having problems he would make sure that one of his collegues saw me due to the severity of my surgery. My family and I have been very pleased with him and he does not rush you out of the hospital or back to work. Dr. Myers believes in you having adequate recouperation time based upon your procedure.
