Dr. Brian Kenneth Olenslager, MD

I was referred to Dr. O by my hip replacement surgeon after experiencing continued hip pain after my surgery. I was really impressed by the efficiency of the visit, and not having to wait very long to be brought back into the exam room, and then not long before Dr. O came to examine me. He sent me for an MRI, which I was kind of expecting. I really thought that the expediency of the first visit was a fluke, but in returning after my MRI, I experienced the same speedy results. It may have something to do with the fact that I always schedule doctors visits as early in the morning as I can. He did a fantastic job for me, discovering that I had a bulging disk that was causing my hip pain (who would have thought), and then giving me a series of two injections that were such a dramatic relief. All in all, I really enjoyed this experience and can highly recommend Dr. O.

If you are looking for an honest, outgoing physician you will never find another like Dr. O; Not that I want to compete for appointments with new patients, but it would be selfish of me not to HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Olenslager. Been with him for 15 years & thru 3 moves, he is completely by the book & puts the patient first.

Was thoughtful about the best way to get the needed procedure done at the lowest cost, which saved me thousands.

I was sent to Dr. Olenslager by my primary doctor. She said she requested he do an MRI. Well, he doesn't do the MRI, he ordered it through radiology after the first appointment with him. After he talked to me for a short period of time, no exam, he set up the MRI and then told me to make another appointment with him for after the MRI to get the results. Did this and on the second appointment he said go back to my pcp because there wasn't anything serious he could see. I am a senior so I asked him if it could be osteoporosis and he said "he only does spine and to talk to my pcp" about that. Ended up that I do have some significant bone thinning in my lower spine but again, when I called his office back they said "he only does spine". It's confusing to have to be seen so by so many doctors and that even though I do have bone loss in my lower spine and it causes me overall problems with my spine I was again told Dr. Olsenslager " ONLY DOES SPINE. Ended up that my internal… medicine doctor sent me to another doctor to get the thinning bones treated and that doctor just gave me a prescription after he looked at the bone loss tests for my spine and told me to come back in a year. Too many appointments for one problem. I can't figure out why he doesn't treat spine problems caused by osteoporosis? He hardly talked to me at all during both appointments. Printed out the MRI results and handed it to me.

I was disappointed in the lack of follow-up as he said I did not need to return. His diagnosis and bedside manner were very good.

Called office for appt never called back.

Dr. O is very patient and understanding. He actually listens so well that i find myself cutting myself off. I've had several procedures. He has been very conscientious through all of them.

Dr. Olenslager has been very kind and caring. He always listens to me a and tries to come up with new solutions to the problem. The only complaint I have is it is very hard to get a hold of his staff. I leave messages and it takes several days to hear back from them. At times, they have missed calling me back all together.

Dr Olensalager, is the most kindest caring and understanding Doctor i have ever had, He really cares about his patients and really listens with full compassion.. I believe he is a God sent and I feel so very blessed to have him as my doctor...If your looking for a doctor who cares, listens and spends time with you and is completely compassionate to your health/pain needs, he is the best Doctor out there and he really knows how to monitor your condition giving you the proper care needed and treats his patients as an individual human being.. He is so focused on the individual care and needs of each patient..If ou need a compassionate doctor I highly recommend Dr Olenslager..He truly is one of a kind..

Dr. Olenslager is an excellent and very knowledgeable physician who truly cares about his patients. He is always professional and very accurate in diagnosing problems and listening to his patients. He helped me to fully recover from cervical disc surgery which was a challenge in itself.
