Dr. Brian Alexander Patrick, MD

This was my first and only visit to Brian Patrick. My doctor retired and Dr Patrick was a possible replacement. He didn't seem to care about my overall health as a doctor should. I felt disrespected and not at all felt comfortable with him. I will find another MD. I left crying out of Dr Patrick's office as I don't need to be made to feel less of a person

Run the other way. Volatile with a temper. Needs medication.

is this the same Dr. Brian Patrick who was fired in Tampa? do they not vet these people? Look closer

Took my Dad to see Dr. Patrick - he's 86 years old with heart problems and severe depression. He's always had a hard time talking about his struggles. Dr. Patrick was so comforting and supportive. He related to my Dad in a way that no one else has. I used to have a hard time convincing Dad to go to the doctor but now he's feeling hopeful and looks forward to his follow up visit. Can't tell you how grateful I am!!

Strange person. Has moved around a lot.

An elderly man with a history of chronic anxiety and depressive disorder, I was a new patient for Dr. Patrick-- two visits and I am an ex-patient. After leaving his office with my anxiety and depression severely increased and in tears. I then spent many sleepless nights reflecting upon my experience with him. For one, he either does not like, or does not respect old people, nor does not know how to communicate with a person who has anxiety issues.. Maybe he thinks all old people are so befuddled that he needs to belittle and bully us in a way that strips a person of all self-respect and self-confidence. He does not listen well; he does not communicate well. He only insults and intimidates. My guess is that he had not even taken the time to look at my chart or my previous medical history or didn't care to. Had he done so, he would have known that I have been treated for anxiety and depression for almost 30 years. He must not have cared. But the humiliation… reached its lowest point when he suggested my friends and family might steal my pills, and that he probably might not want me as a patient anyway if I were not more respectful TO HIM. This was only my second visit and it is my last. I have registered a complaint with St. Vincent's. That was more than six weeks ago. I have heard nothing.

Don't let calm voice fool you bc he could slash you down as well. Bad enough being treated for depression. Had I k own he was reported, I would have second the complaint. I should have walked out of the office instead of taking the verbal lashing. His past will follow. He shouldn't be a dr...not to humans, animals or anything living.

If you are a senior citizen DO NOT see this Doctor. He is very rude and makes you feel like you are wasting his time. My uncle seen him for a follow up after being in the hospital . When my aunt informed him what my uncle was in the hospital for, he rudely told us we were giving him information overload. He keep asking us What do you want? What do you want from me? Dr Patrick was our family physician for many years. It was my understanding that he left the NPR practice because he got married and moved to another city in 2011. My family formed a special bond with him as he helped my parents battle Parkinsons disease, cancer, and heart disease. We were grateful for his soothing bedside manner and his ability to provide information in terms we could understand. He was also one of the only doctors in New Port Richey who continued to see his own patients in the hospital. (I challenge you to find ANY other family doctor who still offers this level of personal attention.)It is with great admiration and respect that I recommend Dr. Patrick to anyone who is searching for a physician. My family and I trusted him with the people we love most in the world, and we would gladly do it again.

Dr. Patrick is the most sensitive, caring doctor I have ever been to. His staff was kind and friendly during my wait (which was not long at all!). He truly cares about his patients and took his time during my appointment making me feel like I was important. He took the time to follow up with me personally by calling me a few times after my appointment. I would recommend him to everyone!
