With someone claiming 40 years of experience, he should have known better, but instead he caused severe, debilitating problems: intense head pressure, ear pressure, and major balance issues.it completely locked up my whole inner system, When I tried to tell him it was the round window reinforcement causing my symptoms, he was in complete denial, arrogant, and dismissive. My concerns were ignored, and it felt like he was more concerned with his ego or money than with my health. Other patients have reported feeling treated unfairly or biased, and I can say that I personally felt disrespected, dismissed, and possibly discriminated against. Because of his mistakes, I had to seek urgent corrective surgery with another surgeon. After that, my symptoms improved dramatically — all the problems were caused by… the unnecessary round window reinforcement. If you are considering surgery with him, get second opinions, advocate for yourself, and be extremely cautious. This experience was terrifying and could have been avoided if he had taken my concerns seriously.

At 21 years old, I was told that I had lost 50% of my hearing in my right ear. I have otosclerosis, and I was given 3 options by a ENT doctor in my local town: do nothing, get a hearing aid or a surgery. I waited serval years and tried the first do nothing option. Until I found that I had extreme difficultly in my new engineering career. At which point, I got hearing aids. My left ear rapidly declined, and I found still further difficult keeping up with people in conversations. At which point, I had a consultation with Dr Peters. He explained the surgery and the 97% success rate and really made my decision a no brainer to get the surgery. I had a few anomalies in my ear, an extra artery and the bone overgrowth was at the top of the stapes instead of the typical fused to the footplate. In spite of these abnormalities, the surgery was a complete success! I feel incredibly grateful to have met Dr. Peters, spending 3 hours with him has improved every single conversation that I have… now. I can somewhat imagine all the effort it took for him to be a top class surgeon of his caliber. I'm 28 years old now, and I really feel like he gave me my personality back. Per doctor Peter's orders, I went back to my local doctor for a 3 month hearing test. My local ENT was amazed at my results- I can hear at 0 db in some frequencies! My identical twin sister has the same issue and will be getting her surgery in a few weeks. To anyone on the fence about this stapedectomy surgery, I greatly encourage you to trust to Dr Peters' expertise.

I came to meet Doctor Peters a little over 4 years ago when I came down with an Acoustic Neuroma. I had no idea what that was and soon learned it was a brain tumor the size of a baseball. I got sent To Doctor Peters and soon on my own learned a great deal about him and his coworker Dr. Lazar. It was all great. In a situation where you have to have surgery the only thing you can do is make the right choice on Picking the team to do it. I have a rather odd job and skill set and it caused me to dig a bit deeper than most people… when it comes to a situation like you are in. I cared nothing about a doctors race, gender, age, religious beliefs. I was concerned only with one question could they remove my tumor and would I be able to live to tell about it. I can tell you yes. Dr. Peters was Calm, Compassionate, Caring, Careful and Candid. I remember him telling me I would not feel good for a year. He was right. His staff was perfect in every way. He was perfect in every way. Now I did not like feeling bad for a year but that was the nature of my situation and had nothing to do with him. Dr. Peters is the epitome of professional and compassionate. I have never felt so at ease (as a wife) while Dr. Peters and his team helped my husband with his 're-offending' right ear. Dr. Peters' expertise is so evident, yet he takes the time to make you feel comfortable and explain everything. I am forever grateful - Dr. Peters was an answered prayer to my husband's chronic ear problem.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Peters. He has helped me with an emergency ear surgery, and he has put tubes in my ears in his office multiple times. I highly recommend him for his expertise and he is a very nice man.

Doctor Peters is simply what all other medical doctors should aspire to be in their practice and in their lives. This sounds hyperbolic, but that is how I feel about Doctor Peters. He correctly diagnosed me in his office in about ten minutes, explained my problem, answered my questions and then performed surgery in a reasonable time. I had suffered for years. Dr. Peters fixed my problem in less than two weeks. I told my GP to send all his ear issues to Dr. Peters.

Dr. Peters truly has been a blessing. Our 2 year old son had two previous cochlear implant surgeries and was going to need a third. We had felt defeated with our local Florida doctors. After doing research we reached out to Dallas ear. The staff was extremely helpful. I spoke directly to Dr. Peter's nurse immediately to express my concerns. I emailed my concerns and Dr. Peters responded to me directly. He was extremely Professional and helpful. Surgery was a huge success and post op was much easier this time around. Hands down the best doctor I have ever worked with. I would make the 1200 mile trip again to work with this fantastic doctor and office!
