Very understanding dr, explained everything about knee and surgery. He is very caring & spends time with you at appointments and not rushing out and leaving you hanging . Great Dr.!!

I have keloid that swelling in the chest around the neck and swollen lumps are breaking. Please ask for your help dr.

I had my knee blow out... completely severed ACL, torn MCL, and a torn meniscus. It took 6 weeks of going from hospital to physician to MRI and finally for referral to Dr. Ratigan. I had surgery shortly after that. It was outpatient. Everything was timely, managed properly, very professional, and always time for questions or concerns. I felt like I was in very good hands with Dr. Ratigan and his staff. They were very friendly and helpful all the time. After surgery they helped me get set up with physical therapy closer to my home. I felt the surgery went very well, minimal pain. Recovery went well.

After a horrible accident that could have changed my life for the worst I was steered by the ER doctor to BR, who has a pleasant manner, while giving out the unvarnished facts. I am well pleased with the outcome of my surgery and if I had to do it again he'd be the best choice in the area. Having played sports professionally himself, he has a good understanding of major injuries and their consequences, but he takes seriously the concerns of amateur athletes like myself.

The most amazing doctor I have ever seen (and I have quite a few). He repaired my rotator cuff and did an outstanding job. He has been in your shoes before, he can relate and makes sure you understand what is going on. If Notre Dame trusts him to do the surgeries on the football players, you know he is good! Can't say enough about him!!!
