Dr. Brian Michael Roth, MD

Dr Roth and his team have helped me out so much rehabilitating from 3 brain strokes. I can’t thank Dr Roth enough for all his help. He is such a wonderful person and Dr. The staff as well are truly amazing people! Very kind & friendly but must of all compassionate. That really makes the Drs office run very well. Thank you to everyone who has helped make my life better!!

Ten years ago, I suffered debilitating foot pain (plantar faciitis). Dr. Roth injected a steroid injection into my foot and the injection didn't even hurt! After physical therapy and orthotics, I was on the mend. Five years ago, I was suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome and required an EMG prior to surgery. Dr. Roth completed the EMG with compassion and without pain. Recently I had severe hip pain. I decided to see Dr. Roth rather than a surgeon. After Xrays to firm up his diagnosis, I started therapy and am improving daily. I trust Dr. Roth to accurately diagnose my problem and to recommend the right treatment plan.

If you are an ascesion emplyee or have ascension st. John insurance this dr. does not accept as in network. The office will tell he does but when checking out i was told my copay would be 187.00 dollars!!when i questioned them they said they do accept but out of network only. They are teir 2 not teir 1 as they will lead you to believe

I couldn't have found a more honest Dr. I just love how caring and honest he has been with my treament. I have several medical issues going on at the same time. Dr. Brian Roth fit my needs over all my issues putting all my medical conditions together. Dr Brian Roth put my well being before anything. All while listening and CARING for my pysical health when I needed it most. I will send all my loved ones who are in need of his medical treatment to him with out a doubt. I cant say enough about him.

He ran the PT meeting for me, did not explain anything, just talked "about" me rather than "to" me. My daughter was there too and he was making judgement about my abilities (both physically and mentally) when he has maybe seen me a total of 2 minutes in the last 10 days. I realize I am older, but, I am the patient, he should be talking to me, asking me questions. I had good experiences with the PT/OT teams but this guy, no thanks. He acted like I was some feeble old person, I had a simple bone break, I am walking fine. Not happy with him at all. He is not engaging at all, no smiles, no energy, you know it is really boring being in rehab for a couple of weeks, when someone comes in, you are happy to have a little company ... he is so dry, that it certainly was not a break in the day to see a happy, compassionate face, he literally spent under a minute, he clearly did not look at my chart because he could not answer a question, and left (no smile, no encouragement) == pretty bad, I… know they have a job to do, but a smile or a word of encouragement costs them nothing but would have meant the world to me.

A year ago at age 51 I was diagnosed with a very rare disorder called Transverse myelitis. I was paralyzed from the middle of my back down. I met Dr Roth in the Rehab unit at Crittenton and have been seeing him for the past year. I am walking with a brace and under the care of Dr. Roth. He is the absolute best and Caring Doctor I have ever had.

Excellent Physician!

My doctor sent me to him for almost a year. I got pills and more than the average amount of therapy at one of his facilities - interesting money making scheme. He seemed like he was concerned but I always felt a little uneasy with him. Sent me for xray and mri and never found the 3 herniated discs that was causing bone on bone grind. Beware when he has an intern with him - he's nasty with to you with any questions. Treats you like a total idiot! Staff always seems put out that you showed.

Would never recommend this Doctor to anyone, one of his first ? tome was if I was trying to establish a law suite, he takes no time to understand integrity of the person, or even was not prepared or read latest qualified Physical Therapist Notes, this guy showed little to no compassion... when I was looking for help with my pain, he only brought me down and made me feel like I had no integrity or intelligence. He also states there no such thing as Severe Whiplash that you don't recover from in four months, this guy should not be practicing medicine in my opinion, was very little to no help other than making me feel my accident and pain was my fault. and never read any qualified PT notes or my concerns, his physical therapy room looks a joke, and he advises against anything to further investigate cause of pain..or procedures to help deal with the pain. In his mind I guess everyone is trying to cheat the system, which is sad, when some of us have very high integrity, but he doesn't… care.

I was thrown from my daughter's 16+ hand Thoroughbred horse. I messed up my back, neck, and left shoulder terribly. After 2 visits to the ER, I was referred to Dr. Brian Roth of Specialists In Rehabilitation Medicine, P.C. of Rochester MI. I had just about given up hope of ever returning to work or a normal life. Dr. Roth was very understanding and knowledgeable with this type of injury. He knew exactly what my body needed. In only 3 weeks of PT 3 times a week i was in better shape than before the accident! I highly recommend him and his team(especially Lori and Amy)to anyone who has a serious impact injury. They gave me back my hope, my job, and a new look on life! I cannot thank them enough!
