Dr. Brian Matthew Slomovitz, MD

Dr. Slomovitz and his staff are all amazing. I am lucky to have been referred to him by another Dr. He takes his time to inform and educate, and also takes time to listen and answer questions and concerns. You definitely feel like his top priority even when you know he has a busy office. I've never had to wait in the office for a long time, and everyone is very friendly. Would highly recommend!!

Dr Slomovitz came highly recommended he was my second opinion for a hysterectomy I immidiatly liked his wonderful bedside manner & thorough explanation along with his resident doctors my surgery went exceptionally well my incision is hardly noticable. he is brilliant & very skilled. All my lab work & his office are under one roof making life so much easier especially during Covid so happy I chose him

Outstanding care. Se Slomovitz made me feel at ease after being diagnosed with Uterine cancer. He performed a robotic assisted laproscopic hysterectomy and the surgery as a breeze. He supported me throughout the healing process being easy to reach and very responsive. He and his team are fabulous and still provide the best after care.

I very seldom write a review, but I wanted to share my experience with those contemplating consulting Dr. Slomovitz regarding a cancer diagnosis. Although I did not contact him for myself, I did reach out to help a dear friend of mine get a second opinion. Time was of the essence and I had almost zero expectation that he would be able to see her in the timeframe she needed. To say that I was amazed and impressed by his sense of caring and timely response is an understatement. He saw her the following day and went over her options for treating her cancer. He was patient when asked questions and was honest about her situation while providing hope for her future. His Physicians Assistant, Diann was also extremely helpful and spent time going over everything with us. Even though she was extremely busy she did not rush us and answered all our questions. If you are looking for a doctor that has amazing credentials, is passionate about his work and helping people with cancer -… you won't go wrong with Dr. Slomovitz.

Dr. Slomovitz is a great physician. I read a bad review from an upset patient. Do no pay attention to that patient. See him, and make you own opinion about him. I promise you, you will love him. He is caring, he listens and gives you options. But remember, we all are allow a bad day fro time to time. we are only humans, and so is He. And for his staff, I only have great things to say. I have texted the Doctor and he always writes back. I e-mail his staff, and they always respond. I have had a good experience with this physician. Give him a change, I promise you will not be disappointed.

I was a patient of his for over 5 years. His bed side manner is terrible, he is condescending, uncaring, rude and dismissive of any concerns or questions you may have. He treats everything with a "whatever" attitude and has a major god complex. Having surgery with him was was ultimately led me to stop seeing him as my doctor. He had no communication or involvement with me pre-op or post-op. He was not involved in my care or concerns before the surgery even though i had concerns and life threatening reactions to certain medicines that were common in the procedure i was having. He deferred everything to his staff and others because he could not be bothered with it and did nothing to ease my worries. On the contrary the incompetence of his colleagues and his attitude made them worst. I was left over 5 hours past my surgery time in pre-op with no explanation, was yelled at like a child by him and his staff, was repeatedly tried to be given medications i was allergic too or did not need… for the procedure and he did not even call or come see me post-op. While in the OR i remember him yelling at the staff to give me more drugs because he simply "didn't want to deal with me." He has no concern for what is best for the patients unique needs, he only cares about cutting and whats bets for HIM. On my post-op appointment he didn't examine me and just popped his head in the room for literally 5 seconds before rushing out. I emailed him complications i was having for weeks after the surgery and he disregarded them all. I finally got fed up, issued a formal complaint with the hospital and changed doctors. You think he even called to apologize for the way i was treated seeing as he had lost a patient? Nope. Couldn't be bothered as per usual. Avoid this doctor at all costs unless you want unnecessary stress, worries and headaches. Surgery is never easy or pleasant but he makes it so much worst than it needs to be.

I went for a second opinion. He sat we me and my family, discussed my situation, offered alternatives (including some clinical trials using immunotherapy).very happy to get this type of care in Florida. He actually seemed to care
