Dr. Brian William Walsh, MD

Wanted to do an IVF w/ Dr Walsh as a self pay patient and appalled by his lack of ethics - he personally overcharged us for the visits and when contacted him and his team nobody changed anything when we disputed the bill. Would overstate procedures he did for example. He then proposed a treatment plan that was against the evidence base - I am an MD so always check the medical literature and get a second opinion. Suggested treatments were shown to cause harm in RCTs but not actually show benefit. He didn't seem up to date on the literature which bothered us (husband is also an MD at BI). He seems nice and caring but I'd rather my doctor was competent and ethical and didn't put me in harm's way unnecessarily. I don't know his surgical abilities but his ethics and lack of knowledge on IVF bothered us enough that we chose to cycle with someone else after the initial investigative procedures.

From my first appointment with him I felt completely safe and taken care of with Dr Walsh. He immediately put me at ease about my fibroid. My surgery and recovery experience was amazing. A week after surgery I came in to see Dr Walsh since I had a slight fever. He saw me that day and did bloodwork and read results while I was in his office. I am beyond impressed with his skills as a surgeon but what makes him the best is how he treats his patients. He is so caring and reassuring. The last thing I remember before surgery is him holding my hand. I think his experience skill and deep care for his patients make him a truly exceptional Dr. I’m so grateful to him.

Brian Walsh helped me with my infertility issues way back in 1990. He is the reason I had a successful pregnancy. He also networked me to a fellow patient of his and we developed a wonderful relationship. Such a great doctor!!!

I wish Dr. Walsh could be my doctor for everything - he was compassionate, responsive, and never forgot a detail in my case. To boot, he's a world class surgeon. It has been a few months post-op and I haven't felt this good and energetic in years! His support team at Brigham is second to none as well. I really wish he practiced in my city so I could continue going to him! Just wonderful!!

My wife had gone to a different medical institution in Milford MA where she was told that she had fibroids. My wife & I were very scared and when my wife asked for opinion of doctor treating her at Milford location they were very cold and harsh with her about what her options were. I did my homework and decided to look up on the web what were some of the best medical institution in MA where she could get good advice. This is where we found Doctor Brian Walsh. He was a blessing he took the time to explain every option to my wife and I. Very straight forward told her to take some time to think about her options. This was awesome!!! Then when she went thru the process of deciding to get them removed the staff at Brigham and Women's hospital are the best. I wish we lived closer to this hospital their staff is above all medical institutions I have ever visited. I will go back to this hospital every time I have an opportunity. They really care about their patients and make every… effort to make them comfortable and most important answer all your questions or concerns. Thank You!

ABSOLUTELY EXCEPTIONAL AND THE BEST DOCTOR I HAD FOR 2 MONTHS NONSTOP BLEEDING FROM MY FIBROID. I WENT TO MGH AND SAW FOUR GYNECOLOGIST.THEY ALL SCARED ME SO MUCH THAT I NEVER THOUGHT I WILL GET THE SURGERY DONE. AFTER HAVING AT LEAST SIX DIFFERENT OPININONS , DR. WALSH WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT COULD CONVINCE ME TO HAVE MY FIBROID REMOVED. HE IS VERY CARING AND THE BEST EVER. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM .THANK YOU SO MUCH DR. WALSH.
