Dr. Brian P. Wolfman, MD

I saw Dr Wolfman in August of 2022 for the results of my CT scan he ordered on my spleen. I had an enlarged spleen and looked about 9 months pregnant. Well he never read the report and when I confided to him I was afraid of a reptured spleen, he laughed and said,” I could get a ruptured spleen, anybody can.” Well, I was so shaken up by this time, I called a doctor I knew in north jersey and when he saw me, he said I’m admitting you to the hospital, thats where you belong. Long story short and being referred to a hematologist, I was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia. I am still getting chemo and was told by the doctors from north jersey, “if you go back to this doctor, don’t come to us”. Dr Wolfman shouldn’t be in the medical field.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this practice like the plague. Coastal Gastroenterologists does not deserve to be under the Hackensack Meridian Health name. It also doesn't matter which location you go to... I visited two separate ones and this kind of incompetency and rudeness is abundant throughout the whole practice and even extends to the office manager.

The doctor was not very friendly after the colonoscopy procedure, and I had to wait a long time for him to come into the recovery room to release me. One of the nurses commented on his attitude and wait time I had.

Love him! Coudnt have been more compassionate! Explained everything, took his time and made me feel comfortable in a stressful situation.

Very easy to talk and helped me when nobody else could. Great Doc!

I had never me him before, had his partner Dr. Chui. Dr. Wolfman performed my endoscopy at Southern Ocean County hospital. At first I was shocked to see how young he looked, but he made me feel very comfortable. He also showed up early and was very professional.
