Dr. Brian K Zell, MD

Dr Zell is a great doctor if you are willing to listen to his advice and the reasoning behind it. He doesn’t talk down to you the way a lot of doctors so. He gives you options, explanations, and sound advice. Not the doctor if you want everything sugarcoated. I highly recommend him if you want excellent and effective treatment.

Dr Zell has the worst bed side manner Ive ever experienced. He was rude, impatient, & demeaning to me. He wouldn’t let me speak & got annoyed w/ me when I did try to say anything. He didn’t offer any solutions, he just told me all of the ways he thought my Rheumatologist was wrong (even though he was a fellow Cooper Doc). He treated me like I was a baby for wincing when he was twisting & turning my arthritic knee. I could go on but I’m not wasting anymore time on this doctor. His nurse Lisa was very kind & empathetic though.

Will never return most arrogant dr I have ever seen the staff was welcoming Dr Zell needs lesson on new patient communication skills I walked out of the office & would not recommend my worst enemy to him.

I have been treated by Dr. Zell for over 10 years and he has performed 2 surgeries and is about to perform a third procedure. Dr.Zell is a skilled diagnostician and really takes the time to understand what type of care will work best with my occupation and lifestyle. I’ve referred family members as well and they’ve all received excellent care. The office staff and nurses are terrific also. Highly recommended.

Shocked by the bad reviews of Dr. Zell on here. I was in terrible pain that rendered me almost immobile. Six months of different doctors and different diagnoses before I saw Dr. Zell. He ran the correct tests, got me an accurate diagnosis, and it is literally because of him that I am out of bed and able to live my everyday life (drive myself to work, cook, -all things I couldn’t do anymore- etc.). The man is brilliant and I will be grateful to him for the rest of my life.

Just a pleasure to walk in and out within the hour.Dr Zell's personality is a real winner for me.

I went to Dr. Zell knowing I had both a back problem and a hip problem. He told me I did not have any hip problem and advised me to see the back doctor. My impression was that he did not want to be bothered. I ultimately had surgery - a left hip replacement - within that year. I would never recommend Dr. Zell.

My mother fractured her wrist and Dr. Zell went to numb it but it didn't take. He was aware of this and just pulled on it to put in back in place. I thought my mother was going to pass out from the pain. She has a very high tolerance for pain and when we left she just cried. She could not believe that she was treated like this. She didn't even get a warning about the process he was going to do in order to prepare her on what to expect. Shame on him!
