Dr.Earle was attentive and answered all questions and concerns for my family.

These categories don't really fit. Dr. Earle was in "palliative care" when my husband arrived at Lenox Hill hospital and it was clear he was dying. Dr. Earle's job, it became clear, was to get him out and into hospice, as Medicare won't pay for hospital for dying people. She didn't say that, though, even if asked directly. Instead she put on a phony sappy "caring" voice, and lied through her teeth: "We just want what's best for him." But the pressure to move my husband out never let up. Eventually I allowed myself to be persuaded. It was a mistake, I do believe. Moving was too much stress for him. I saw his color change as we entered the ambulance; he died 24 hours later. Yes, he would have died soon - but I am convinced that I might have had his company another day if it were not for the cynical, hypocritical phony ministrations of Bridget Earle and her cohort.
