Dr. Brieanne V. Midura, MD

there was a checkup I had with her when I was 20 and she was so nice, I had a mental breakdown and cried in her office and she was SO comforting, she genuinely is a very nice person and she's young, she's cool, she GETS it, right? but she told me she needed me to pee in a cup to test me for diabetes(bc it runs in my family), and she tested me for chlamydia instead but didn't tell me. My mom found out from the insurance bill and YELLED at me for having sex (even though I wasn't active at the time) and made my life miserable and she accused me of having sex and being 'dirty'. So thanks brieanne for lying to your patient and not telling me so that I could at least get ahead of it and tell my parents that it's a routine test for young women my age. Thanks for making my already tense relationship with my mother(which you knew about) even worse even to this day. I hope karma handed your a** to you but you ultimately have a nice life.

She’s a nice girl until you dare question anything she does or says. Then she becomes demeaning, condescending, impatient and disrespectful. Never met a physician w the temperament (or lack of) she has. She’ll be great, unless you don’t comply w her demands....she uses scare tactics and guilt to sway opinions and I will do my best to make sure everyone knows the true Mirdura.

Our young boys both see Dr. Midura. We switched from another local practice because we could never get an appointment with their pediatrician. See an LPN is fine, but we want our kids to have a regular doctor. Enter Dr. Midura. She takes the time to listen to every question I have, my husband, annnnd our children. After our first appointment with her, I called my best friend (a mom of 3, and a pediatric nurse) -- she knew of her and heard wonderful things as well! We absolutely love her. My kids actually like going for their visits!

changed her as my daughter's peditrician after many trips and unanswered questions.. My daughter was always fussy and seemed uncomfortable .. Dr midura always said its colick she will outgrow it by 3 months... My daughter started having mucuous in stool and I took a stool sample to the office and it was not tested! The last visit we had with her, she seemed annoyed and brushed me off like I am a first time mom and I don't know what I am doing... Once I took my daughter to a new doctor, he diagnosed her with a cows milk allergy! My "colicky" daughter was a new baby! No more fussiness and discomfort...

My daughter is now 14 and we had gone through many practices and doctors. I had never felt 100% confident and happy with any other Dr before meeting Dr.Midura 4 years ago. My four year old son adores her and even eats his vegetables for her! She has children herself and you can totally tell. She spends all the time with us that we need every single appt. She remembers tiny little details and really cares. All of my friends bring their kids to her now too! I cant say enough about how important having a Dr that you love is. Peace of mind with your childrens health is everything in life and Dr.Midura certainly gives us that!

You never realize before you have children how important a pediatrician's role is. It isn't just important in the child's life, but it is important in the parent's life as well. The relationship a mother/father gains with a pediatrician never goes unrecognized. They become your "go to person", with any concerns or questions that impact your children. I wanted to write this review because I feel Dr. Midura is a magnificent pediatrician and I want to let her know how much I truly have appreciated her since the first time she walked into the doctor's room. She is the type of doctor that values the importance of her job. She assured me from day one, that she would always be there for my family, and within the year and a half we saw her she was every step of the way. She is truly a professional; always very kind, honest and never judgemental. I feel as a first time mom, there are several insecurites you have regarding your child and it can be a very vulnerable time. Dr. Midura made me… realize not everything is black and white and all babies are different!At only four months old, my daughter suffered from multiple seizures. It wasn't a typical seizure, as she didn't shake, but she just stopped breathing. This was an extremely scary time. I remember driving her to the emergency room at Newton and Wellesley, where they immediately ambulanced her to Children's Hospital, as there was no explanation for why this was occuring. Everyone was very concerned and confused as to what caused these seizures. Dr. Midura was truly amazing through this diffucult time. She was actually one of the first people to check on my daughter's health, calling me while we were still at the hospital. She continued to follow up with the doctors in the Neurology unit at Children's and always kept me in the loop. Needless to say, this reassurance was very comforting. Other then the seizures, my daughter's health been quite good, with a few common colds/viruses here and there. All in all, I wish all doctors were like Dr. Midura! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a pediatrician. I just want Dr. Midura to know how thankful I am for everything she has done for my family. Unfortunately, we had to relocate so cannot see her anymore. I will truly miss having her and wish her nothing but the best of luck in the future.

Dr. Midura is phenomenal. we are moving to florida this week and upon realizing how upset I am to leave her I was prompted to right this review. My daughter is 8 months old, and she's been our pediatrician from day 1. We have brought her in for everything from ear infections to what we thought was strep (went in three times, turned out to be viral). Dr. Midura is right on with her diagnosis. She also doesn't over-prescribe antibiotics which I really like. she always takes time to listen to my questions and discusses everything from nutrition to different sleep training methods. we feel like we're visiting a friend who happens to be a Doctor. She has kids of her own so she "gets" it. I can't say enough nice things about her, she is so good with my daughter, fantastic bedside manner, patient, great listener, and really knows her stuff. She is very bright and really knows her stuff. I have extreme confidence in her abilities as a doctor, and I don't feel like I need a second… opinion which I often do with other physicians. I have a degree in nuclear/chemical engineering and she speaks to me accordingly, explaining labs and medical issues in ways I can understand without talking down to me (which I've had other Drs do). She is warm, down to earth, and practices holistic medicine. Thank you Dr. Midura for everything! We'll miss you!!!!
