Dr. Nygoyi is such a great woman she delivered all my children. Always made me feel comfortable I love her

I switched to Dr. Ngoyi at 30 weeks pregnant. She was kind enough to take me on when others wouldn't because I was so far along. She listened to my concerns of an itchy feeling that I was experiencing. She ordered lab work even though she felt that there was nothing seriously wrong with me. She said out of caution she wanted to rule out some serious ailments just to be on the safe side. Well, turns out, I had a serious condition called cholestasis which could have caused me to deliver a stillborn. When she got my lab results back, she immediately sent me in to be induced THAT DAY. I love Dr.Ngoyi because she is kind, she listened to my concerns when the other Dr. didn't, and she saved my baby's life.

Dr. Ngoyi. Where to start? Is she a horrible person? No. A Horrible doctor? No. She is nice enough. She didn't make me feel rushed during my appointments and would answer all my questions. Where it really mattered was delivery. She showed up within an hour of me being admitted which was nice. She was calm, cool, and collected throughout the entire process. Baby's heart rate kept dropping every time I pushed and it would stay down for some time after so she had me stop pushing and I would go back to labor on my own. She said my baby was "just being fussy". After an hour she would come back and tell me to try pushing again. Same thing happened as the first time. She left. Waited another hour. Pushed again. Bad heart rate. She would leave. Then the baby's heart rate was dropping and not coming back up when I alone in the room. 2 young nurses ran in and started freaking out. One kept frantically saying "I can't find Dr. Ngoyi. She's not answering her phone. She is not in the… doctor lounge. Where is she?" Another doctor came running in and said this is bad. Where is Dr. Ngoyi? more "I don't know. We can't find her" Then Dr Ngoyi finally comes in and says I need an emergency C section. I was in the operating room being cut open in the matter of minutes. Scariest time of my life. Baby and mom turned out completely fine. Once she put the last stitch in me. I was wheeled back to my room. To my complete and utter surprise, Dr. Ngoyi left to go home. She did not stay for 1 minute to check on me or the baby. I would have loved to talk to her for a couple minutes. So disappointed and hurt even that she didn't care to explain to me what happened or try to make me feel better about the experience of nearly losing my son. (The umbilical cord was wrapped twice around one of his arms.) The months following I played that night over in my head trying to figure out if she did all the right things. I wish she would have stayed in the room over even checked on me more frequently since baby was in some distress. I wish she would not left me in the care of 2 nurses who were probably less than 22 years old. I wish she would have stayed and comforted me for a couple minutes. I wish on my follow up appointment she knew the gender of my baby, she called him a girl. She does not have bedside manner. I believe she is very experienced doctor. Even when I was getting my spinal for surgery and being rushed out of the room, I saw her face and she looked truly bored. I guess that is better than freaking out. She got great reviews that's why I picked her but I will not be using her again.

Dr. Ngoyi is compassionate and genuinely cares about her patients.

Dr. Ngoyi made me feel comfortable from the moment she walked in the room. She walked me through a in office procedure I was nervous about. She answered all my questions and encouraged them. I am so grateful for her and my friends that recommended her to me!

Dr..Ngoyi delivered all of my children..She has a wonderful bedside manner.My oldest son will be 15 this year so throughout the years she's become like family..I trust no other doctor with my personal care..

Dr. Ngoyi provided prenatal care and delivered my first born. She held my hand through the tough times. Though my daughter is now 17 & just left for college, I've never forgotten how Dr. Ngoyi got me through the nervousness of having a baby. I'm nervous again, but had to take a moment to thank the one who helped her into the world.

I've been a patient of Dr. Ngoyi for 15 years. I have a 12 year old and experienced a number of miscarriages. I was properly referred for genetic counseling by Dr. Ngoyi. Within a few months i was pregnant with my son and thankfully carried my baby to full-term.
