Dr. Brittany Lee Goss, DO

She was great at first. She ordered MRIs, reviewed scans, gave me a diagnosis and helped with my disability appeal. When other doctors had treated me poorly because I was too young to have pain and too old to have a genetic disorder, she was not caring, non-dismissive and validating. She told me, based on my test results, that my heart was enlarged and that if I got rear-ended on the road, I had a very serious chance of ending up paralyzed. When the pandemic started, she switched to telemed. I called in and told her office manager, Donna, that the app was not connecting me to my session. Donna was rude and sarcastic and told me to take responsibility for missing my appointment and not blame the app. The office staff soon got back in touch and said that there was a problem with the app and other patients were also unable to access their appointments. I wasn’t aggressive, hostile or rude. But I was somewhat appalled at how blaise they were, given how absolutely nasty… she’d been to me. I respectfully asked for an apology from Donna, for explicitly calling me a liar, when the onus was on their technology. A short time later, I received a letter from Goss, releasing me as a patient and stating that I would continue to receive care for 30 days. In those 30 days, she did not refill prescriptions, order tests or do anything that was urgent or necessary for continuation of care. So, take from that what you will. She was really great for a few months. Then she pulled the rug out and left me for dead. If you need 4 months of exceptional care, followed by unconscionable mistreatment and sheer negligence, Brittany Goss is a fantastic choice.

I saw Dr. Goss after seeing 4 other rheumatologist. She was the first one who had read my medical records. She took time to gather a detailed medical history. She listened and believed me. After a round of bloodwork she created s detailed treatment plan. This was all great!! Her office staff is horrible and negates all the good she does. They cancel appointments and failed to notify me. They are not trained on Medicsre/Medi-cal insurance and thrift lz CV knot knowledge results in more cancelled appointments. Th hey are rude and hostile. The make any good from an appointment absolutely not wr worth it.

Dr. Goss is a spectacular specialist. She is not flashy, she is not arrogant and she does not reek of self-importance, the way so many other specialists do. Dr. Goss is knowledgable, focused, concise, organized and empathetic. She appears to be the kind of person who got into this field in order to help people, rather than simply for the paycheck and the title. I sometimes (often) leave doctors' offices feeling more uncertain and more concerned than when I went in, but when I leave Dr. Goss's office, I feel hopeful and grateful to have her in my corner. For many patients, simply being treated like a human being is, "above and beyond," compared to what they've come to expect. Dr. Goss goes a step further, by displaying flagrant kindness and courtesy. In opposition to all that for which the medical industry is presently renowned. I'm grateful to have found Dr. Goss and I now understand the difference between, "medical treatment" and "medical care."

I have seen five other rheumatologists in the northern CA area looking to figure out what is seriously gone awry with my body. They all suck and have no brain function as far as I can tell. I was so frustrated with their failures I had given up hope on finding a rheum with any skill. In fact, I have been advised to leave CA to find a decent rheum. The first time I saw Dr. Goss I left her office and cried because I finally found a good doc! She spent nearly an hour talking to me for the intake appointment. She wanted a complete history and asked insightful questions. She looked at prior labs and saw that there was something seriously wrong. She ordered 17 lab tests (nearly a pint worth of blood) and followed up one day after getting the lab results! I have since been dx with systematic lupus and we are now also looking at autoimmune hepatitis and lymphoma as a start to unraveling my medical issues which other docs ignored for years! For the first time in over 4 years my pain is… being addressed, the underlying issues are being addressed and I have a doctor who is dedicated to figuring out what has been going awry in my body. It takes a long time to get a first appointment wtih Dr. Goss, but it is well worth the wait. She is the only rheum in norther CA worth seeing.

Good Dr. the staff are fude with no compassion

Dr Goss is the most WONDERFUL Doctor. She actually cares and spends time with you and listens. I have Lupus and I have heard Horror stories of Rheumatologists. My prior one was one of those. The staff is wonderful including Donna who helped me make sure my new insurance would cover this office. That took a lot of phone calls. Sure it takes months before you can be seen but that is the case with almost all great Doctors these days. It is worth the wait. They send your paperwork months in advance. No excuse, just do it and not complain when you arrive and have not done it. She looks over it all before you get seen.

I have been seeing Dr Goss for several years and she has always taken the time to listen to me and come with some solution for all my ills. She treated me as was the first person that needs to be heard.

Very thorough and caring physician. Spent a lot of time with me and answered all of my questions.

After a while, I would never see the doctor. She would just dump me off on her PA. I wouldn't even see her very often. The people in the office have the personality of a rock, except for one lady, who I think does the insurance billing. She is very nice. I went elsewhere.

Excellent, down to Earth, easy to speak with, very caring & sincere
