Dr. Brittany Ugochi Okpagu, MD

I had a virtual appointment and this doctor did not listen to me when I told her I had COVID symptoms - no smell or taste, crippling congestion to the point that I could not sleep, diarrhea, sneezing and respiratory issues. She advised that I take some Flonase, a hot shower, drink warm liquids and return to work the following day because I did not have a fever. I did NOT return to work the rest of that week out of concern for myself and my coworkers. She also refused to provide me with a work note to recommend my teleworking for the remainder of the week. Extremely unprofessional and she appears to lack basic medical knowledge posted on the CDC website concerning COVID quarantine time frames.

I had a virtual visit w Dr. Okpagu today and it was wonderful! Very patient, thoughtful, paid attention to details, comprehensive review and thought of the long term impact when suggesting treatment approaches. Really great visit and wish she was local to me.

I had a virtual visit with Dr. Okpagu today and it was actually a wonderful experience. She made me feel heard and welcomed. She acknowledged my concerns and was very nurturing and therapeutic to have a gentle physician like her. She even was patient with me because I have a hoarse throat and it was not difficult at all to communicate. I recommend.

My experience was not a great one. I did not feel comfortable speaking with her. It’s as if she judged me for what I was there for and it made me so uncomfortable.

Saw her for ear infection and she lectured me for smoking never treating the reason for the visit.
