Dr. Brook Andrew Adams, MD

Dr. Adams spent a ton of time diagnosing the issue and going over non invasive options. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient. Will recommend him to friends!

This was my third opinion about my should replacement and I'm so glad I visited Dr. Adams! I have found many surgeons jump at the chance to operate but he took a different approach and tried something no other surgeon had done - an injection. If that doesn't work well in the long run, he suggested a scope (less invasive than a total replacement). I've postponed this surgery twice already. It's not something I want. I've had my right shoulder done and I have about 75% use of it which is about 25% more than I had but quite a bit less than I was promised. I'm encouraged by his approach to patient care and preventative medicine.

We are all blessed, here in the metroplex, to have many options for our health care. From my first visit on, I was confident in choosing Dr. Adams. Not only is he very prepared for his patient's needs, but he surrounds himself with people that share his passion for the patient's future. I could not have asked for a better experience with Dr. Adams. I saw him for a torn biceps tendon. He explained my options very clearly and honestly. His knowledge on the matter was very impressive, and I was instantly happy I had gone to see him. I elected to have surgery and was very very pleased with the results. I was very impressed with the efficiency and compassion from the entire staff. Dr. Adams was recommended by several friends and is in the same group as my husband’s Ortho doc. He was very caring and listened to our concerns. He told me that both knees showed some arthritis and that at some point I would need a replacement but as of now an injection would probably ease the pain IF I wanted to go that way. The injection was virtually painless and I will continue to use Dr. Adams. He is professional, highly recommended, kind and caring. A big thank you to him and his staff.

While playing soccer I fell with my right knee falling inward. I heard a pop and felt pain. I was referred to Dr Adams by a couple of people and set up an appointment to have him diagnose the extent of damage to my knee. Dr Adams diagnosed a partial medial meniscus tear and said I did not need surgery. That was a relief. He said it would heal by itself in about 4 weeks. He told me not to stress out the knee or to provide too much pressure on it. He offered me a brace to wear while driving and as needed. He and his staff were very professional and timely. He provided reassurance that I would be fine with the knee, but I could call at any time should I need to speak with him about the knee. It was a pleasant experience and I will see him again should the need arise.

Dr Adams has been wonderful. He is professional and patient. I felt he listened to me and addressed all my problems. Also JEFF is very efficient and also friendly. The whole staff is great!
