Dr. Bruce Donald Akright, MD

I have been going to Dr. Akright for over 20 plus years. He delivered by daughter 22 years ago and now she is seeing him too. Dr. Akright is absolutely the best doctor I have ever had. Truly caring, compassionate, respectful and knowledgeable about us women. I feel at ease with him and never leave his office with any doubts about my care.

I've been seeing dr. Akright since after my first pregnacy after I had an awful expierence with a dr in the same office I went to him as just for gynecology, which he's been so great!! So truly caring and makes me feel comfortable asking any question, I'm now pregnant with my second child and looking to go back to him hopefully he's just as great in obstetrics and make this pregnancy a smooth one

I had many questions about my changing hormones and Dr. Akright patiently answered them all. He is very caring and informative. He was very prompt in responding to an email question and he even called me to be sure I understood my bloodwork results and the options I had for relief from some of my hormonal imbalance symptoms. I am thrilled to have such excellent care! I hope he never retires!!!

Dr. Ackright performed Davinci robotic hysterectomy on me and the results were fantastic. He is extremely professional, experienced, and truly cares about the health and best options for his patients.

I used to be a patient there and received poor service. They didn't really care about you as a person. Quality care was lacking and questionable. I was disappointed with this medical group and definitely would not recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Akright is awesome. When I went in and he did testing, he contacted me personally with the results. He then followed up and when I went in for a follow up he not only went over everything, but answered all of my questions before I even asked them. He put my husband at ease and I would and do highly recommend him.

Dr. Akright is a very understanding and compassionate doctor. I have never left a review on a doctor before but felt compelled to do so for Dr. Akright. He is very knowledgeable and listens to what you have to say. I would highly recommend Dr. Akright.

I first went to see him 2 years ago when I had a "failed" Pap smear he helped me through the entire process and did the procedure I needed in house he was calm the whole time and made me feel comfortable . His bedside manner is wonderful and he has always answered all of my questions. After following up with him for the last 2 years he has become my consistent obgyn we recently just found out we are pregnant and he did my first sonogram we are very disappointed he no longer delivers and we have to switch doctors but other than that he is wonderful absolutely wonderful !!

So glad I found Dr. Akright. Very knowledgeable & great bedside manner.
