I have seen Dr Bevitz for all of my adult life. I was just diagnosed with breast cancer and was told to get an updated exam. I was devastated to find out Dr Bevitz no longer takes my insurance and during this difficult time need to find another doctor.

Took my wife to this doctor for a few visits until we realized that he requires payment for delivery at 26 weeks and he couldn't guarantee he would deliver our baby even though he would already be payed and his excuse behind this was that "he needs time off" highly unrecommended doctor as it is completely apparent he cares only of money and not the wellbeing of you or your baby.

This guy loves to not take you or your concerns seriously. He will rush you out and make jokes while doing so. As you're leaving you will feel violated by his lack of care and lack of professionalism.

Staff very friendly and helpful, doctor friendly as well, very funny, puts you at ease, but puts too much faith in the status quo. Patient concerns are dismissed with a smile and a reassuring pat on the head, a "That's very rare so I'm sure you don't have it" attitude. Problem is I DID have it. I wanted to trust him but honestly after being dismissed for so long when I knew something wasn't right, the trust was broken and faith was lost--I did not and still do not believe he had my best interests at heart. It appeared he was more interested in there not being any deviation from the norm or his own comfort zone. But it could just be that he was resentful after being told by the specialist that I was right and he was wrong. When it became necessary though, I must say he did an excellent job performing my emergency c-section.It could honestly just be personality differences, and no doctor is perfect--they all make the wrong call now and again. I don't want to be unfair or harsh, but… to put it bluntly: I felt like a product moving down a conveyor belt in his automated money-making factory---anomalies not welcome. I like him as a person, but unfortunately I can't trust him as a doctor. As much as I hate to say that, it's what this website is for, so that you can make an informed decision about the doctor you choose. I'm just giving my experience.
