Dr. Bruce Byrne, MD

I went to Dr. Byrne because I had a fluid pocket on my index finger (right hand). He operated and neglected to see that the tendon was stretched so when I recovered.. the first joint at the end of the finger didn't work. He had to operate again and to fix the frozen last joint. It would never bend again!!! So he operated a third time. Remember that is my right hand index finger. He had told me with the first surgery that the dent in my fingernail would also be taken care of and I would have a nice smooth nail. To the contrary, it was much, much worse than it was before. Please, please do not trust this surgeon. After three surgeries, and being told I'd have one simple surgery, I was left with a ruined joint and fingernail. With the third surgery he placed a metal pin in the joint and it will never bend again! I have to tell you do not risk this doctor touching you!

I had rhinoplasty not long ago and the #1 thing I asked for was for the bump on the bridge of my nose to be removed. That’s all I wanted. Guess what? I still have a bump on the bridge of my nose. When I mentioned it at my post op Dr. Byrne started pressing on my bridge really hard as if he didn’t believe it was still bone. His comment was “look where you were.” Answer: not far from where I started. Not one person noticed a difference post surgery. So disappointed and frustrated. Also, be prepared to wait at least 45 minutes for every appointment. Even if you’re the first appointment of the day. And did I mention his office lost my final payment? They claimed they never received my check 3 days before my surgery. I had rush to do a stop payment and get another check out. About a week later they called to let me know they found the check and wanted to know if I wanted it back or torn up. No offer to pay the $30 stop payment fee that I incurred. Everything about my experience with this… office/doctor was frustrating and a wast of time and money.

I unfortunately thought Dr B Byrne was going to be the answer to my prayers when I broke my hand. He doesn't have great office personality, but he was actually rude and abrupt the day of my surgery. When surgery was complete, Dr Byrne said he had removed a ridge and "...some arthritis." (?) After weeks of painful therapy for my hand (costing money, travel, and time I couldn't afford), the therapist said the therapy would never allow me full proper movement of my hand because the bones were never corrected. Dr Byrne then explained that, for that, he would have to do artificial-joint replacement surgery "...in four to six months...." to correct the problem; but I had understood THAT was what he was going to do from the start. (I pretty much had surgery for nothing to be done.) I guess if I had had him do rhinoplasty or a boob job, I'd be "sitting in butter" now. Instead, I have a deformed hand that continues to worsen, despite continuing therapy at home. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

I was sent to him to help my back. He suggested a lift,reduction, some tissue off the side. I has the surgery and within two days was back by ambulance with a double hemotosis. I was rushed to surgery again only to have a bleeding issue then also and when he was about to send me home . The internal medicine dr of rockwall came by and checked me to see I was not ready and needed a blood transfusion and question dr Burks in the hallway asking him was a preop done and he said no. My body had been tortured and was in shock and that was the reason all had happen. After 7 days was sent home the internal medicine dr told me to stay in touch because I had to have 2 blood transfusion before heading home. I then went in for check ups and the scars were not healing right . I told told dr Byrne he said no laser next door. After so many treatments and she said I was done. She hits me with a bill. I did not feel like I should be charged. I still had the blotched areas she said put tape on… them. I was so mad with him not just fixing it. He just nevered listen and did what he wanted to do. I will not tell people to go. I look like a messed up boob job. I will not show my breast off to who ever i met for love. Very disgusted by this man's work and fixing it after he messed it up and will pass on. Unhappy

Dr. Byrne is a great surgeon and I was very pleased with my results. Thank you to him and his professional staff for providing a positive experience!

Dr Byrne is fantastic! I had a breast reduction and the pain in my shoulders is gone. He and his staff are very professional, knowledgeable and excellent at what they do. I would highly recommend him!
