Dr. Bruce Warren Filarsky, MD

I was referred to him for a surgery consult. He called me 15 minutes prior to appointment time to tell me he no longer preforms surgery and that It would be a waste to see him face to face. He offered a telephone consultation. I explained I was sitting in the waiting room. Out of pure desperation, I agreed to the telephone consultation. It just got worse from there. He told me that I was going to enter menopause in 6 years so, basically, deal with the issues I was having. After 5 minutes of him explaining all of the options he would recommend against, he recommended the option that I had previously attempted (for 2 years) without success. I walked out of Kaiser feeling mortified. I am writing this review because I want all women to know, if you have an option to see another doctor, do so. Avoid him if you can.

I usually do not like seeing male OB/GYN. I had to see Dr Filarsky for something that couldn't wait. He is great. His bedside manner is excellent, he explains everything in great detail, and takes his time. He was very sensitive to my emotions, and I felt really felt comfortable with him and knew he was concerned about my care. I changed my doctor to him after the appt.

See De Hollison or Snook if possible, Dr Filarsky acts like he can't be bothered.
