I developed an infection in my eye following cataract surgery. It started on a sunday and within hours I had lost all vision in my right eye. Dr. Garretson saw me early Monday morning, did a thorough exam, diagnosed the condition( an infection) treated it properly and over a period of time I regained my sight in my right eye. Approximately a year or so later he performed surgery on the right eye to remove a macharal pucker. Most of the distortion caused by the infection was corrected and my vision improved immeasurably. He is a great doctor and I am thankful for the treatment he rendered. He saved my eyesight.

Visited dr. Garretson today and was extremely happy with the visit. He's thorough in his exam of both eyes. He pays special attention to my left eye which had the torn retina surgery four years ago. He's watching a nevus in the left eye. I'm happy Dr Garretson chose Ophthalmology to specialize in. Excellent doctor and I highly recommend him to everyone. Janet Adams

This was a most unsatisfactory visit. Dr. Garretson was abrupt, rude, and evasive about answering my questions. Perhaps he was just having a bad day; it was my first appointment with him, and it will also be the last.
