Dr. Bruce F C Gomberg, MD

I expected to be in a great deal of pain following my total hip replacement by Dr. Gomberg. On the contrary, I recovered in less than three weeks with mild discomfort, but no pain at all. It was amazing! I recommend Dr. Gomberg and OA from my experience. I will say, if you are someone who requires a lot of handholding to go through this major surgery, this practice may not be for you. There is an assembly line aspect to the practice. BUT, I didn't care because I got a great result.

6 months post surgery, I’m glad I chose Dr Gomberg. The results have exceeded my expectations. This surgeon knows his business, and it has been a pleasure dealing with him.

My husband has been suffering with a deformed and arthritic hip for over 5 years now. He has tried cortisone injections and a reconstructive surgery to no avail. He is in an extreme amount of pain every day. He had an appointment with Dr. Gomberg today which was supposed to be about discussing a total hip replacement surgery but Dr. Gomberg said he would not do the surgery and would only refer him to a pain clinic. Are you kidding me?! My poor husband should not have to be drugged up for the next 20 years until the dr feels like he's old enough to have the surgery he NEEDS. Dr. Gomberg clearly has never seen my husbands charts or medical history. He simply did not care and is a sorry excuse for a doctor. Save your time and do not go to see him.

I saw Dr Gomberg for osteoarthritis in my knee, we discussed treatment options. He explained everything and reviewed films with me. He was very pleasant and took his time for my many questions. I would recommend him. The staff in Windham office was extremely helpful, especially Michele.

after many years of arthritis pain in both knees I convinced myself to see a surgeon. I had been seeing a specialist at OA for many years and was told I needed surgery but I kept holding off.Finally in the fall of 2016 the pain was getting to be too much. I was given an appointment and introduced to meet with Dr.Bruce Gomberg. His Diagnosis and approach were very positive and reassuring. Surgery was schedualed for partial knee replacment both knees one month apart, Jan 2 and Feb 3 2017. Now I am at home rehabbing, in my opinion and everyone else who has been involved with my surgery,make comments on how well it went.I have high praise for Dr,Gomberg and his staff along with Mercy Hospital, overall it was a very positive experience

The staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. They are not well informed. They do not know how to handle certain financial situations and lied about their blunders. When they were questioned about it, they became belligerent and aggressive toward me! I have never been treated so poorly. Appalling!

I have followed Dr Gomberg from Maine to his current practice and was thrilled he was now in NH. I trust his advice and guidance. He has helped me and guided me for several years now. I recommend him very highly to anyone who is looking for an intelligent, experienced and caring orthopedic surgeon.
